Chronicon starts off slow, but after about ten levels and 2-3 skills in your toolbar the game picks up. The five acts offer lots of content even if all of it is KILL EVERYTHING IN SIGHT, but its an ARPG what else are you here for?

The real meat is the endgame when you unlock the end-game area after act 5. You start getting runes which basically allow you to have an additional legendary effect on every one of your 8 slots of equipment and there are enough legendaries in this game to really solidify something that feels like a unique build.

Speaking of builds how does 6-7 skill slots per tree for each of the four trees sound? and each of those skill slots have 2-3 skills that can be inserted into them for sometimes dramatically different skill types. Then there are the cross tree synergy skills, only usually one of these per tree, i really wish they had more like this. Then to make your build even more stupidly good is the mastery system, sort of like the paragon system in diablo 3 but leagues better since A its character by character based IE if your main is mastery rank 100 your alts won't be they will each be their own mastery rank, B you earn xp for this from lvl 1, and C the mastery ranks share about three trees across the classes but the other 4 are unique to each class. Then if you wanna mess with your build respecs are available from go and you can wholesale reset your skills or take things away point by point so you're not throwing everything out the door when you do so.

honestly the only bad thing i can say about this game is that it currently has no online multiplayer and no plans to come to consoles as of yet cause if this thing hit the switch i would double dip in a hot second.

TLDR: A good ARPG that punches far above its entry fee, get it if you don't mind a mostly singleplayer affair due to no online multiplayer.

It's still so hard running into games that are on your Wishlist. It's going to be worse when I stop running into them. :(

Dragon's Dogma 2 is sick. I made Andris Ginder in your honor. You'd legit love this game man... It's pretty much better than the first one in every conceivable way. Miss playing co-op games with you little brother.

Went to California and got to see Super Nintendo World. You would not have been impressed with Cali pizza though lol. Wish you were still here Bobby. I know I say that a lot but I mean it. I played Metroid Prime during my vacation and Dragon's Dogma 2 comes out in two days... I love you little brother.
