I realize frost giant is trying to take some pointers from Blizzard of today with their pricing options. I realize they are trying to maximize profit as this is their only game right now and they need to keep food on the table, the servers on and the lights lit. That said. The game should have had about another year of early access, to polish things up and balance the game a little better. its not completely busted, the 1V1 is great, the maps are good, and I appreciate they took away the camps and put in the storm-gates on the map, much better and rewarding objective to fight over. That said, the whole shebang shoulda been like 60 bucks with a deluxe edition and maybe a founders edition for the kickstarter folks, maybe a plushie of each worker or a statue of a Vulken or somthing cool to come with those for people to have. Anyway, good game, i'd say current state and pricing, 6/10.

This game was amazing. A clear 10/10 in my book. YAGER wasn't dealt the best hand with the launch of this game as cheaters quickly took over season 1 as YAGER did not expect the influx of cheaters to be so high or come so quickly, and, because of that, most people put the game down for good at that point. YAGER did what they could with the situation they had, cleaned up about 90% of the cheaters by the time season 2 came around, but with a now low player-base, investors in YAGER started swinging their wallets around and made them pull the plug when they saw things weren't turning around. Its a story I see all too often in the gaming industry, what happened to just having a game be fun? But enough about that, what about the game?

This game did SO many things right, the gun-play, the movement, the maps, even the sounds were amazing, also I'll say that while no one asked for it, the addition of the howler was pretty cool as well. The thrill of getting into a gunfight, and only barely surviving, but surviving! And now you have their gear too? Muah* Chefs kiss. I've had so many memories on this game, met alot of great people, and a lot of shattergun corner warmers too. This game was better almost any game in the extraction shooter space ever thought of being, and I am deeply saddened to see it go. I could go on about this game for hours....this game was amazing but what made the game truly great experience was the people I ran into, some of the best gunfights I've had in awhile I've had on this game and also a lot of hilarious mid combat banter too.

So to my fellow refugees of Prospect Station I've met over the past year or so, its been real fun! If you recognize my name from the game feel free to send me a friend request here on steam, maybe we can all find a home in a different game.

O7 Prospectors, and until next time just remember, Fortuna favors the bold!

I want to start this review with saying that I really wanted to like this game, and for the most part, I do. The issue I have is that I cant get through an expedition without a crash, or a connectivity issue with my party members, until those issues are fixed I just cannot recommend this to other players as it makes the game unplayable.
