This game is amazing and so huge. I haven't actually played over 300 hours lol, many times the game runs if I fall asleep due to health issues. But I absolutely recommend this to all age groups, there is honestly something for everyone to enjoy. BTW I am the wife of jester as we share this account.

Relaxing and stress free coloring! Take your time or speed color, your choice. The DLC is well worth your while and very enjoyable.

I really tried to NOT like this game. Because, it's not like I WANT to like every game I've spent my money on. Nah. I like to know that I've wasted time and money on something terrible. I really, really tried, but..... disappointingly I ended up LOVING it.

This game surely has a lot of stuff going for it, though not completely without flaws.

It's kind of hard to explain this completely. It is cute and funny, then suddenly turns dark and mysterious. It is emotional and thrilling and clever and artsy and puzzling and adorable and weird and lengthy and wonderfully narrated and has a totally inconclusive ending. In other words this game is the definition about it being about the journey more than about reaching a goal. Because, WOW, was that ending a punch in the stomach.

That being said, I thoroughly loved almost everything about the game until that that very last part, and there is a second part in development that hopefully brings us a conclusion to all the questions we are left with.

There are some aspects of the game that are incredible. The voice acting in this game is one of the best I've ever come across in any game. They make the story even better and really hits on the punchlines and narrations they do. Fantastic job. There are interesting puzzles, deductions, interrogations and conversations. Several choices that can be made throughout. Secrets to be found. Enjoying and fulfilling... for the most part.....

Because, some of them feels unnecessary. Some puzzles are just there to stall you a little and take nothing but simple clicking to complete. I feel there could at least be some more ingenuity to those. Some of the choices you get changes nothing or very little to how the story progresses and seem to be there just for separate achievements. Some of the collectibles you have very limited access too, and must be found on your first try or you miss out. You can of course go back scenes you've already been to to make different choices (achievements) or to try your hand at missing collectibles again, but I simply don't like the idea of hiding stuff where you will not have access to all the time, at least in a chapter/scene. Some choices are portrayed as very important choices, but seems to not make any difference, except for a possibility that might make some changes in the next game? I don't know.

I had a great time playing this game and would easily recommend anyone who likes point & click adventures and puzzle games alike to play this gem. Just beware of a disappointing ending, and you should be set for a joyful ride.



So, even if I enjoyed this game, we are lucky to be able to have different opinions, so if you are sitting on the fence, make sure to check out several reviews before making your decisions to get it or not.

So this is Christmas?

I really enjoy a HOPA now and again for a short puzzle experience in between other games. Figured I'd play this Christmas one it being in the season and all. Have to say that my expectations for these kinds of games are not exactly high, but clearly some are better than expected and some are worse. Unfortunately this falls in the latter category.

The graphics are nice, the atmosphere is ok enough, but the story is terrible. So is the voice acting for the most part. The story is totally senseless and even cringeworthy at times. I'd rather kiss a reindeer's behind than having to go through that again. Not to mention the puzzles. It's way too easy and nothing original except for maybe a couple of the HO's.

One can clearly see that this whole mess was abruptly put together to get it ready for the season and was given barely or any thought other than to get it out on time. I'm sad to say that the best part was when it was over. There are better Christmas HOPAS out there. I'd stay clear of this one if I were you.

I'd rank it a 3 out of 10 (mostly for the art and atmosphere)

Loaded case, loaded guns and loading screens.

In many ways this is an excellent game with an intriguing story, great characters and fantastic artwork. It's unfortunately held back a little by a lot of black loading screens, some minor bugs and lack of control of when the story should move forward. If you, like me, are an old school gamer that have been playing games back when you had to change disks half a million times between each scene, this should only pose a minor issue. But I could easily see people getting annoyed by it.

The detective noir story is very well done. I have no experience with the comic books this game is based on, and how close it is to that, but it really made me want to dive further into this universe. The story benefits from the great characters you meet in the game, and is furthermore helped by a great cast of voice actors. I am a sucker for anything detective/noir/mystery stuff so this game really ticked off a lot of boxes for me personally. Some people might find it a little slow.

I've played most of Pendulo's games and have enjoyed most of them, and I certainly enjoyed this one, even though I feel they are moving a little bit off their typical format of games. I really liked the deduction system which seems hugely inspired by certain Sherlock Holmes games. However, I did not care for the timed conversations or the automatic progression when you interacted with certain objects. There are collectibles in the game, but they are hard to complete unless you focus only on those hot spots before interacting with anything else. Some scenes are even timed making the collecting even more difficult. The movement is also quite clunky and it can be difficult to make hot spots appear unless you stand in an exact spot facing an exact direction. However, I do not play a game like this for collectibles.

I think my biggest issue with the game was the amount of black loading screens. Even between short cut-scenes. This made the game feel much slower than it needed, and one would think this could be optimized a bit better. I also encountered a few bugs/glitches like totally black screens and such, but nothing major.

If you're into point & click adventure games, and especially detective mysteries and such, you will probably enjoy this game. More for story than for the actual gameplay maybe, but it has its fair share of exciting parts too. Sometimes with QTE's, but not in a very imposing way. They also seem to fit in nicely in this type of game.

I thoroughly enjoyed my playthrough despite the issues mentioned, and I would easily recommend the game for any fans of Point & Click/Adventure/Visual Novel type games and even more so if you are into these type of noir stories.

For me personally, I'd rate the game an 8 out of 10.

My opinion is subjective and your view might differ from mine, so if you are uncertain about getting the game, make sure to read several reviews before making up your mind.

This game is an absolute stress reliever as well as calming to the mind and body. I am the wife of J3st3r, and we both color these pictures, which is why the hour count is so high lol. I fully recommend this for all who need some calm in their stressful real lives.

I like the animations, which make this a unique coloring app.

This game is amazing and worth every penny and some. There is always room for improvement, but these dev's listen to the players and are contantly coming with amazing updates and DLC.
