One of the best players and persons I ever met in my online gaming career. I hope we will play together many hours of Insurgency, Portal 2, L4D2 and many other games we tried since we met.
If you are ever in doubt about anything -> ask JC!
JC is one such person.
Insurgency is a game that requires many different skills and allows for many different tactical options. Unlike other first person shooters, it relies on teamplay and communication to commit a true victory. The feeling of a round well played, where the enemy has been gauged, weighed tactically and then bested by a well executed team plan is a magnificent thing.
JC eschews all of that for the pure, single tactic of a speed rush. He is an artist.
Describing JC as a good player would be a profound insult to his skill and tactical quality. In fact, calling him a player is an insult in itself, JC is an artist, as important to tactical shooters as Arnold Schwarzenegger is to the seventh art. He is the Van Gogh of first person shooters, the Picasso of fast paced action games.
I consider myself a decent player and yet I live in sadness knowing my skill will never reach even a fraction of a fraction of JC's immense talent. He is a beacon of tactical light in the cold darkness of Insurgency. I've had the immense privilege of fighting by his side and I'll tell you this, I would follow this man to the end of the world.
So if you face him in game, trust me surrendering is your only hope, for in his greatness he can also show mercy. And if you've been blessed and find yourself on his side, then just stand back, he's got this.
