I have played every total war title since the beginning back in 2000 and watched CA develop their team over the years, there has been some ups and downs along the way but they have always managed to listen and satisfy their fan base if not they would not be as successful as they are today. I understand from the media coverage and info from pre release that this is not a main title its something new they're trying a spin off of sagas they can base off previous engines and make changes and tweaks to suit the time period, I guess a sideline project of sorts. While this certainly does not contain the depth of other total war titles it does provide something unqiue in its own right, its a refreshing change you have to think more about army placement which locations you need to defend to sustain your kingdom and the loyalty of your generals play a big role too. I like the way it reflects the reality of the time period with no garrisons in small settlements unless you put one there and the fact you cant instantly raise full stacks becuase of the pool limit and 1/4 unit strength is good imo. all in all I enjoy this title as a inbetween sort of niche title but I do understand why some others are not getting along with it. maybe its just an appetizer for the long awaited return of historical titles like the one I have waited for since after rome which is DAMN three kingdoms era, which I would be dissappointed if that turns out like this but then again its not a "saga" and I don't expect it to be I dont know why others seem to think this is a reflection of how all future titles will be from now on..

Bloody Good job I don't know whether it's paradox kicking Eugen's butt into shape but they sorted the AI so looks like campaign and skirmishes with AI can be fun again. the pace and mechanics work alot differently to wargame its a hell of alot easy to be more vigilant with your units. seems well balanced so far obviously dont have access to all divisions yet. It feels like the rolfstomping will not have such a presence in this game feels like the mechanics and balance allow for many oppurtunites for turnaround espically due to lack of long range ordnance of hte time period, It's all about the holding/pushing the frontline and CQ dog fights in the air. Good job eugen and paradox

hands down one of the best in this genre addictive realistic and rewarding, 9.5/10

these devs started off as some of the best devs I have ever supported now theyve made their cash, they have become ignorant pompus Aholes, the updates have prettty much stopped from 1-2 a week to 1 a month they said they were going to finish this game by june/july 2016 this game is slowly getting dropped they have just released an expansion DLC for an unfinished game like wtf finish the game before you start with expansions -.- these devs are slowly digging themselves a hole oh well I guess they dont care now they have filled the bank account as with 99% of humans. I think its time steam takes action on these early access games and itroduces some type of consumer rights rules this is getting silly most countries have some type of consumer protection laws devs are ripping us gamers off left right and centre atm..

Despite the intial setback, CA were awesome and fast at responding with a hotfix so fast, I had to go play offline but I'm not fussed so much for multiplayer as the campaign aspect is my favourtie part I can do multiplayer camp when im abit further in, so far 10/10 I mean it hits the spot for me, great job imo guys..
