I'm not usually one for these kind of games but this was a fun experience to try out. I KNOW the primary purpose is to play with others, but honestly for a novice to platformers playing solo is still decent enough of a challenge. The difficulty does spike at certain points (parts I would APPLAUD people completing while playing with a full party), but it was never enough for me to want to give up (the trick is not being super invested probably, though even on beginner you will see certain sections a LOT). Managing to complete in 5 minutes over 6 hours is enough to be proud of and strive for better, though getting the Achievement for 1hr 50m or less is not something in my future plans. Fully recommend, but don't get too serious about it.

Pros:
Checkpoints - Only 3 but still better than nothing.
Difficulty Options - Beginner, Normal, and for the bravest/foolish of adventurers Lava Mode for a one shot run.
CO-OP or SOLO options- Be tied to up to 3 other people for the added challenge of communication with timing your jumps.
Affordable - Only $5 is a large point in the games favor, and the primary reason I picked it up.

First DLC level (user error) I broke all the boxes didn't check higher spots, realized my mistake and left. In the base game if there is stuff in high places usually a box or 2 re-spawn for you to be able to get it....wasn't the case here. I can't get all the items, let alone collectibles. very disappointing. Hopefully there is a patch or something later.

This game beat all my expectations. I went in merely expecting a silly little meme game, but I had so much fun! The music is amazing, the characters designs are all unique, the humor is well paced and it actually has a small bit of a story! You can choose between two game difficulties, (Normal or Karen mode) and try to keep your calm in everyday situations while trying to be the best Karen you can be. For only a couple bucks it is definitely worth a buy!

This game surpassed what minimal expectations I had and blew them out of the water. The Music is AMAZING - beautiful quality and expressive (something that would suit other mediums far beyond a FREE "dating" sim). Honestly a little surprised they didn't make the OST for this DLC content for a few dollars. The background art is also really well drawn, and the character designs are unique and distinctive. A few nods to some different Anime along the way - one of which I didn't notice until some friends pointed it out.

As far as the game-play goes? Well my play-though (with friends) was a couple hours and some change, another pleasant surprise. Basic choice base system, decent dialog, and a heaping amount of randomness. There are multiple endings if you want to try for the True Ending, but even the Neutral Ending I found to be fairly satisfying. It's FREE so if you have some time and want to just goof around for a bit I would definitely recommend this with some friends
