100% not my type of game, I got it while it was free and it is a great game. 100% recommended for those with time and patience, but to me... It just gave me a headache, I got a bit of motion sickness for some reason. Take your time, and when you cannot see anything, look at random objects and point and click, if your running out of battery you must as well try and randomly find it.

My only crib is it would be nice to know what you've missed exactly when you fail a hour. It would be nice if the game dropped vague clues such as "your gut feel tells you something was in the Kitchen..." even if it was 25% chance of it telling you.

I honestly think this was one of the best additions to the Sims3 roaster.

The new robot sims are placed harder to reach but get better over time and can become a reward.

And the elevators are... The best thing for the Sims3. So much space saved in builds... When does Sims 4 get these???

Early Access Review
Not going to refund this one, but this isn't a game for me. Its a bit too clunky.... But... This one feels cruel to thumbs down or get a refund, its a good effort of a game and when that happens... I can't let my own lack of patience and furstrations towards the game go.

The creator(s) has at least my support at least, good job, its a good game, just not one for me. I can see the attraction for those with tons of time and patience for it. Its like other survivor games, but has too many tools and actions to do and too much to learn at the start. If the entire game was made simple... It would actually make the game 10x worst and not better. Usually I comment if a game is too hard for newbie or people who want to learn a game in 15 minutes like myself... But that doesn't do this one justice.

The game is GOOD because its got a fiddle and steep learning curve. Its good because its trying something new and different to Minecraft and other similar games. The games... Too cheap and I think that is bad. Less then £7 for a game with a lot of potential to be a nice great little piece? This should be in the £15 range min. Don't abandon it, please bring it out of early access.

I'd like to see it leave Early Access.

This is the best all around pack they've made, hitting all the right buttons.

You have all the things needed to make a country home, save a TV, but, the point of this pack is pretty much against the spirit of all that. There is a lot for your buck and the pack is balanced. There is no single bed to go with the double one, but thats fine.

The CAS section of the pack thats mixed, there some nice pieces... And some mundane stuff. Other things are done better by other packs, but the pack remains overall balanced again. This feels like a pack should be; some mundane, some nice, some stand out and some stuff that is a bit random at times. This allows future packs to be able to build on top of a older packs stuff and provide older packs with variety and alternatives to the things they do.

All in all, a good pack.

To me, this pack becomes essential if you buy City Living, their polar opposites.

The only other thing to note is the Neighbourhood... It could be better, there is worst though. I've gotten to the point where I take neighbourhoods with a pinch of salt because most aren't that big and have limiting slots.

Ignoring the renting stuff...

This is THE most boring and mundane expansion pack of the bunch.

Literally everything this pack does CAS and house building-wise, another pack does, or does better.

Like, every pack you can say something good or bad, this pack, ignore the "usual Sims bugs", focus on content... Blam! Nothing! Its not great, its not special, you can do without this pack and you likely won't notice your using the content for this pack when you look at the items related to it, because thats how much they DON'T stand out. Like, at least throw in a random "oh.... Thats a nice dress" into the pack or something when you design packs!

I sat there for a couple of hours playing with this, Get Famous and Realm of Magic and of the 3, I didn't even notice I used something from this pack when making a house. Like. Wow. This is the kind of expansion pack people complain about, that just exists for the sake of it.

I've never used the celeb system in past games and I won't start using it now.

Okay, off the bat, combine this pack with the following; Werewolves, Vampires, City Living, Life & Death.

Congrats, you can build a haunted house or a home in a state of ruin by this point. The pack contains more stuff to go with these packs. Next, the Create a Sim mode adds scars... Great for Vampires and Werewolves. Adds some gold teeth, nice, add that to vampires and mermaids and you now have some odd Sims. The hairstyles added are great and overall, before you touch anything, CAS has been improved by this pack. Theres some nice full body outfits such as the pirate get up, and overall, this is worth it for CAS.

Actually building homes is... Alright, more of the same stuff we've seen before. I've bought the packs out of order, when I say that so... Bare that in mind. Some more pool decorations, lot of stuff with gold motifs. I'd mix some of this with the Realm of Magic pack, which also has some gold motif stuff.

One area I am disappointed is there is no swimwear, which for a celeb pack I'd expect for those "model swimwear" shots. Overall, the best part of this pack is not the celeb system... But the character designs that you can make from this... Or just... "Hey look at my Sim whose covered in scars", but hey. Enjoy making freaky looking Sims that live in fancy golden homes.
