Did Digital Homicide "develop" this?

Seriously though, Cliffy B, dude, you should have left this cake in the oven a little longer.
It's like Boss Key put this one in the oven for 5 minutes, thought it looked cooked!

And the gall to put microtransactions in this early access s**t fest?
Shame on you for "Cynical Heights" (yes I stole that from you know who!).

From what I have played so far, from a gameplay stand point I absolutely love No Man's Sky, it was everything I expected a survival game in space.. "Spacecraft" if you will.

However there is a lot wrong with this game and that is why I can't recommend it in it's current state, the PC port is as bad as Arkham Knight, just using 1.03, the framerate was all over the place, always going below 30 to ridiculous numbers and has a lot of hitching, there were times in space stations where just talking to the alien inside, as the transition from game to menu played the game would hitch badly. With the "Experimental" patch things are a lot more stable but there are still frequent frame drops and the odd hitch. So for performance the game is definitely lacking.

As for the price, the game is not worth it's £40/$60 price tag, there just isn't enough content in this indie game to justify the "AAA" price, the terrians and plant life seem to be repeated more often than not and not to mention the hideous Sporesque mish-mash of animal parts that make some horrific creations as well as poorly animated nightmares.

So in conclusion, I would say to wait until a heavy discount and a lot more content to be added to No Man's Sky before considering a purchase, as of right now, it is no where near worth the money.

Took one look at the port from Straight Right and thought "Wow, they did a real copy/paste job here!".

This port has the most barren graphics settings screen about, the only 2 options to note are; resolution options and Field of View options. No preset quality options, no texture options, lod, AA., none of these options are present in this port, just awful!
