He heard that voice from further in the building, but the voice wasn't dampened by walls. It was almost like a chant.
"Don't Think That You Can Hide From Me... You crawled into the dark... You tried to cover yourself... Don't think that you can hide from me..." The closer the voice got, the quieter the words were. There were no footsteps or background sounds besides his own heart and muffled breathes. Just this voice.
"And You chose the worst room... One without a light... Don't think that you can hide from me...You can stand real still... you can hold your breath... don't think that you can hide from me..." A few moments pass and there was nothing.
Then in the pitch black of that closet he felt wet breath upon the back of his neck.. " you can't hide from me...."
