If I could, I would give yes/no rating.
Game is well done, fun, and addicting, so thumbing it down would feel wrong.
But, it suffers from terrible difficulty scaling, so the game becomes kinda boring.
After about half way thru, your upgrades get so powerfull, game gets more and more easy.
This is specially true for the later upgrades.
So the game gets stale, and easy, I gave up third way thru New game+, there is zero challenge. I don't even remember when I last time lost a run.

Great game, terrible difficulty balance, so the game gets easier and more stale as you go forward. Shame.
Still fun.

Saying this is like X-Com, is a lie. This game has auto play button, should say all.
Missions are so far laughable easy.
Menus are terrible, everything is spread out in so many places, you try to do one thing, you have memorize where that thing is done.
So much upgrade this with with this, and that with that, and etc, so much busy work clicking, this is a mobile game for sure.
This is not an X-Com, not even close, not even the modern ones, that were dumbed down.

But it's ok, well made, graphics are outdated, but style carries this, sound is ok. story so far ok.

Maybe the game gets even slightly, and I mean even slightly challenging, not brain dead (last boss I killed with one character in one turn), but after 17 hours, one could expect even some challenge. This has mechanics, potential to be fun strategy game, but none of it matters, just press auto play in 3x speed, saves you more clicking, and brain rot, since that is what you will be doing outside "combat" all the time anyway.

Really good. Would pick up at sale, if you want more RE, this is it.

Addicting, fun, awesome.
Reminds me of Bad Company 2, with the objectives and destruction, love it.

EDIT: Still fun after hitting max Character/Battle Pass level.

Been playing since last open beta.

S1 and 2 were great, S3 was the low point so far.

Season 4 is awesome, can't recommend this enough.

Still playing, only break I have taken was Season 3, which was not great, but this game is awesome.

Quick Cash is fun again, game is fun, awesome.

Awesome awesome fun game. Last Halo I played was Halo 3, feels good to be back.
Hard to put down, it has that one more game magic built in.
Couple things that need fixing at the time of this review:

- Performance, this might get better after we get better drivers after launch, but this game definitely doesn't run well for a lot of players.
Good thing is it is free, so you can test out how it runs for your system.

- Battlepass.
Bugger all for the f2p player. Couple customization pieces, if you put hundreds of hours into the pvp.
Tied heavily to missions, that affect your, and others way of playing, f.ex. get kills with X weapon. It's all random bs, slow to progress, it is just bad overall. There is plenty in depth analysis of this.

Good thing is, game is so fun, you can just ignore it, and keep playing having fun.

- Servers, sometimes you get "can't join fireteam" error message when joining to the game, that just keeps popping up in endless loop, have to altF4. This is the main reason I have quit out of the game (I guess that is an compliment?). Pretty rare, but has happened me enough times worth mentioning.

It's free, try it out.

Game is great fun, and quite long (maybe too long).

DLCs add a lot more "no car" action to the game, so it balances out with vehicle parts.

You can get this cheap with big discounts now, can recommend it.

Graphics still look pretty good, it's a pretty game, and I haven't had any recent problems with performance.

First impressions are great.

Much more like original X-Com games so far, pacing is way slower than Firaxis X-Com.

I absolutely loved the first "reboot" TR, the second one more of the same, bu tit was still good, this one...

More of the same, bloated, I got bored so fast.

If you are new to the franchize, you might like this a lot, but for people who played the first two reboot TR-games, I can't recommend this.

Production values and such, excellent, gameplay loop; tired.
