It's basically Elden Ring but a mix of a bunch of other mechanics as well. You have the standard fighting mechanics of a soulsborne game, mixed with some sort of valorant/fornite/warzone closing ring system.

All in all it is not bad, but what turned me off is i wanted a two player coop game I could play with my spouse, but because you can only play either single player or 3 player I could not take time to ease my spouse into the game. Instead we got some sweaty try-hard who joined and got upset we didn't follow them. Since it is only either 1 player, or 3 player lobbies the experience ruined it for the both of us since we couldn't have time for her to figure out the map or mechanics.

I want to give this a good recommendation but the fact that the only options are to play single player or 3 player co-op is stupid. I just want to play a cool game with my girlfriend and it's stupid I have to be joined by some random to be able to do so.

If a literal two player co-op option is eventually added I am happy to change this review, but until then whoever made that decision to make it 1 player or 3 player is a fool.

Solid sh*t

It's a relatively fun, short game where you murder the sh*t out of most things in your path. I played it on release and will say the weapon cool-downs blew a**, I was dying left right and centre on my first play-through due to the cool-down mechanic.

They must have done a patch or I just got better at the game because on my second play-through the main weapon cool-down upgrade made a significant difference.

I will agree the endings leave much to be desired since it takes from Mass Effect 3 and does the "same ending but a different colour" route. But all in all if you spend time to get the right upgrades and do missions to get cash, you can spend your missions like an AT-ST that doesn't suck, purging xenos (or humans) with bada** weapons.

For what the game is worth and with the amount of fun I had after learning the mechanics, I would argue this is a solid pick to spend couple of days just killing sh*t.

Best Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V simulator I ever spent my hard earned Canadian dollars on. If you want clunky space combat and mediocre ground combat this is your game. Excellent concept but all in all you run out of things to do after you get a ship worthy enough to pirate. Now all I do is murder fools and take their loot, die to interceptors, collect my stuff and rinse and repeat.

GG WP Hello Games, would not join a lobby with you guys ever again. Oh wait....

It's the Diablo 3 that we should have gotten, so much flexibility in character traits, items are badass and the gore... or the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up gore. This is a game I would recommend to anyne who sortof liked Diablo 3 but thought Blizzard ruined it

So, I've sunk quite the ammount of hours into this game and more than 400 of them are in multiplayer. I loved Axis and back when it was only soviets and Werhmacht the game was actually well balanced aside from ♥♥♥♥ troops and tiger ace. OKW broke the game because they were legit OP and then got nerfed, then the US did the same. So funny enough what happens when the brits come out?

I have seen a lot of tactics, con spam, rifle spam, volk spam, tiger spam you name it from both sides and the game used to be fun but I stopped playing after the brits came out and I either got steamrolled by them, or steamrolled as them. Relic has tried to make balance and it's helped a lot but every game is toxic now.

Axis:
- Complains a lot
- Cries that things need to be nerfed
- When they win they rub it in which is not very fun (This one I hate to see in my teammates)

Allies:
- Will almost always say EZ game, never a GG
- Roll out with armor and take out 2 infantry and they legit quit the match
- "Git Gud you sore loser" is my favourite one


TL;DR It was fun while it lasted but play it with your friends, not online.
