Early Access Review
As expected magic/ranged classes are overpowered and melee classes are either stuck playing Runescape levels of "thrilling" combat or you just get overwhelmed with no way out.

RNG is the name of the game. 10 hours in and although I've seen an elite enemy at least once in every room entered there's been not a single drop of loot that comes nowhere even close to the overpowered stuff that other people get. If you don't like to spend literal hours fighting the same enemies with little to no result, play something else.

Multiplayer actively makes the game worse. If you play anything defensive, be prepared to have your defences stripped and be teared through like paper. Did you do an adequate amount of damage solo? Great, you lost all your damage due to scaling and you won't be able to kill even cannonfodder enemies. The final Multiplayer experience option is to be partied up with people (even just one quest) further in the game than yourself and not encounter a single enemy because your party has cleared everything before you even got a hit in.

Another game that has amazing visuals, a good story and an absolute garbage parrying mechanic that they WILL shove so far down your throat that your grandchildren will still taste the "we wanna be Sekiro but more ♥♥♥♥♥". Simply said, you HAVE to parry larger enemies to get a chance to stance break them, that's right, a chance. 9/10 times enemies will deny you this chance and you'll be back to square one.

You will be forced to play in a certain way and it leaves little room for a change of tactics.

If you liked Sekiro you might like this.

If you didn't like Sekiro, you'll hate this with all your heart

If you are looking for a game that starts out fun but gradually gets ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, this is it.
It has EA written all over it in bright neon lights.

I spent nearly 19 hours trying to complete the game and about 16 hours where actual fun and pretty fluent gameplay.

However in the last act the game resorts to throwing endless enemies at you instead of making enemies stronger meaning that you are always fighting a defensive battle which gives you little to no space to fight enemies as the game has been teaching you.

POSSIBLE SPOILERS:
The thing that drove me to write a review at all is the final bossfight. So many things went well in this game, the bossfight is not one of them.

The boss is almost untouchable, spams hard (sometimes impossible) attacks endlessly as you struggle to heal in an attempt to delay the inevitable.

TLDR:
It's a great journey, but the last act is absolutely terrible up to the point of unplayable.
