I had quite a bit of fun with this game. Discovering the mechanics and how different things interacted was entertaining through out. The overall 'vibe' of the game is very relaxed and not stressful, perfect to unwind and click some cards for a night. However vibe comes with some caveats. There's a few things that really started grating on my nerves throughout my time with the game.

The ability to grab entire stacks is the first that comes to mind. It's frustrating and tedious to have to make sure to grab the absolute bottom card of a stack, especially when dealing with the shop. I think this could be fixed if right click grabbed the entire stack. Not much else to say here.

Another issue is the way food is currently distributed can mess up your run. If you have items in a stack ready to be cooked, and the day ends, I've had many different times that the food I had intended to cook would be eaten before stores of food that I wanted them to eat. One attempt in particular was stopped in it's tracks as it was food that I had intended to grow that gotten eaten before others, and I wasn't able to start growing worthwhile food in time to recover before a portal.

On the issue of food, the way food is given out to your people could be adjusted as well. I had a decent society going, though we were scraping by on food. Near the end of one of the days, one villager discovered another villager while exploring, which had me unable to feed my units at the end of the day. This wouldn't have been a problem if I could've distributed my food, as the new villager could've died, and I would've been in the same position I was. However, the game feeds the easiest people to feed first and moves up the chain. This resulted in one of my swordsman getting killed instead of the villager who showed up moments before the day ended. And when these larger units die, they don't drop the gear invested in them. While this could come down to, 'don't explore if you're not ahead in food', it could've been better explained, as the current discovery of it wasn't enjoyable.

Finally, I think the 'ritual' to win the game could be better explained. I may have skipped over text on the grail that would have explained this better. However, when I got the grail, I already had my temple built. I immediately put it on, thinking this was how I was to win the game...not spawn a 99 health demon that needs to be beaten to beat the game. I don't want this to come off too negative as I don't have an issue with the fight, I think it should just be made a bit more clear what you're getting yourself into. My first ritual was done on a portal day, as I thought it would be the end. Instead I signed up for a battle royale that decimated most everything except for a few of my units. Happy to have won, but I think it would've really soured my experience if I had died there, and I can see that coming up for other players or other runs.

Beyond these issues, the game was a unique and fun experience worth it's price tag. I only wish these issues didn't make it feel like the game was still in early access.
