It's like gambling, but with skill. Fluent gestures of art, fine guises of myth, some steps to dance and practice here and again. Sharpen your swords. If you've played Cuphead but burned your breast on the stress, try some Hades, and slip deeper into your stride. There's an air of inevitability about it, like God of War, and it's wrought, but so far, I wouldn't say it's overwrought.

Saw this on YouTube shorts, thought I'd check it out. Some of the funnest tower defense I've played in a while. Has different breakpoints than other games in terms of the economics. Great graphics.

This was my first soulslike game. I had heard Elden Ring was the new Breath of the Wild and with that in mind, initially I was disappointed, thinking that it was just for nerds with too much time on their hands to customize their 12 button macro mouse and make their "sick build" designed for their fighting style. Then I started paying attention to little things here and there and filling out the map ... and now I'm hooked. This game has depth.
