I play both sides of Dead by Daylight. Sometimes I’m chasing Survivors as Killer, sometimes I’m running for my life as Survivor. And I enjoy the game for what it is: chaotic, unpredictable, often hilarious, and sometimes a little soul-crushing. That’s the point.

There’s a lot of noise in this community about what’s "fair" or "unfair." Camping, tunneling, teabagging, slugging, flashlight saves, hatch escapes, the list never ends. But here’s the thing: the game allows it, so it exists. I’m not here to encourage it, I’m not here to complain about it either. It’s part of the ride, and I’d rather laugh it off than waste energy being bitter.

Some days you get tunneled out in five minutes, some days you’re the one wiping the floor with the other side... and sometimes you bump into a pacifist Killer who just wants to hook everyone as many times as possible without actually killing anyone. That’s Dead by Daylight: weird, frustrating, funny, and everything in between.

It’s not an esport, it’s not a test of morality, it’s a party game with murder clowns and flashlight clickers. So if you came here to whine about your "ruined fun" or my "toxic playstyle," save yourself the effort. The delete button is faster than reading your essay.
