Fun turn based game. But it could get confusing. The tutorial seems to be lacking since there's more explanations that were needed, like how to cross oceans. there's also this bug with the tutorial where i had to press the esc key in order to close the box. The game is satisfying and can get quite challenging. I just have mixed feelings about the hexagonal movements. I liked the free movement of rts games like the Age of Empire games. I recommend looking at the instruction manual to make sure you know everything in order to have a smoother game experience

This game was cool and fun at first, but a lot of things ruined it. I had to set down the graphics because of the lag, even so, there is still some lag in the game. The game has crashed many times even with toned down graphics. There are also many glitches in the game. Also, the game play is too complicated. I wanted to play this in single player, but the survival exploration aspect makes this game too tedious and too time consuming. Too much inventory management, too much crafting, too much surviving. So much time can be spent taming a animal just for it to get lost or killed. More powerful animals can come out of no where and kill me without any chance for me to escape. I hate it how i can easily run out of resources which means that i need to restart the whole game. I also hate that there are unfair ways to die, like for instance this one time i died because i accidentally ate some poisonous thing. Too many bad decisions like upgrading the wrong skills, using resources unwisely, going to a dangerous territory unprepared, forgetting to carry certain things, losing things, getting lost, and losing rare items. Without respawn, the game would be totally unfair, but in a survival game there shouldnt even be any respawning, yet the survival conditions in this game are too realistic even though respawning contradicts all that. I dont like it how the game actually expects me to play on multiplayer, but what about first learning how to play the game first in single player? Too many annoying people in multiplayer. The game is just too difficult, time consuming, and buggy.

the first problem that i had with this game was getting it to full screen. For some reason, i cant get it to full screen and only window mode works. Then when i tried to set it to the highest resolutions, part of the screen is missing. So then seems like the only way i can put this game in full screen is if i stick with the lowest resolution settings which only leads to ugly graphics and with vertical black bars on both sides. yuck. Then theres the problem of the game crashing, which for now i think has something to do with windowed mode. I hated it how when i was first trying to get the game in fullscreen, it would just mess with the Steam window and i would have to force the game to close. Unfortunately, the game just seems unattractive and the game crashing is something that is not acceptable. I dont need to play this anyway, i'll just try it age of wonders 3. They need to make an Age of Wonders Definitive edition similar to Age of empires. This game is so old and perhaps an upgrade like this would have prevented these issues.

The game was going good. I liked the minimalist colorful graphics. But then the language showed up. Even though the T rating didnt include "language" in it, there was the notorious "S-word" in the game. The hero was already talking too much and to add insult to her dumb dialogue, she had to resort to swearing like this. I stopped playing after this point. It really made me very angry that such language had to be dumped in the game like this. Kit kat being this cute little robot saying "damn" also seemed totally unnecessary and just more dumb dialogue. The kit kat character along with the cute creatures in the game, colorful cartoony graphics, lack of blood and gore, also made it seem as if this was an E rated game. But seems like i was wrong. I don't care what anyone says, this is a big pet peeve of mine and i wont let it happen ever again. I played the Metroid games and there wasn't this ridiculous language, and Metroid is rated T. Besides the language, some of the dialogue is dumb anyway and i think the characters talk too much, which leads to stupid language. I also ran into a few minor bugs in the game. I also thought the game was too easy, and it got a little repetitive at times. I'll stick with Metroid.

Grey Goo is an awesome RTS game. I love the graphics, the story is very fascinating and thrilling. It reminds me of Age of Mythology.
So you may ask, "Why "Grey Goo"?"
The name of this game is based on a hypothetical end-of-the-world scenario involving molecular nanotechnology in which gluttonous duplicating robots consume while building more of themselves. In this game though, they actually can create all sorts of robotic creatures that look like bugs.
The gameplay itself is fun, but it could get confusing at times. Its too bad that the story seemed to have ended on a cliff hanger even though there could have been so much more to it.

Beautiful graphics, interesting story that has to do with religion and philosophy. Nice music. The puzzles are fun, but can get dull at times. Reminds me of Portal. I dont know, i just didnt enjoy this game completely. I recommend to play the Portal games before playing this one.

Played this at the free weekend. Totally AWSOME fast action puzzle game with modern day graphics with easy controls and includes a mechanic of making space by shooting which makes you torn between clearing space on the map to navigate and targeting your opponents since you can only travel on tiles which are the opposite color and with the mirror effect which makes a very tense and thought-intensive versus mode that feels really rewarding to learn. But the difficulty can get very intense, so it may not be for the faint of heart
