Good idea, awful vs execution.
The match making in the game is simply subpar, not only does it match you against other players who have many hours of experience over you, it doesn't match you with people on the same round as you, only with people on the same roll tier as you.
The heart mechanic also is so punishing and doesn't allow you to build up your team if you got screwed over by fighting people on a higher round than you in the beginning. I understand having scaling damage on your HP mechanics, it just seems to be over way too fast before you can really start building up.
If the match making was more balanced it would be a multitude better, the idea is a good one, the mechanics *are* fun it just isn't a good feeling to finally be getting your team together just to get stomped by someone on the same tier as you but on a much higher round.
A good way to counter balance this would be to add a game mode that pits 8 to 10 players or so against each other with a time limit in the planning stage, so it guarantees everyone be on the same level.
Another point is that many times I would reroll with little or nothing frozen and get the exact same thing in the store, which given the game is still in beta I would imagine it's something that is known about and either going to be looked into or not at this point, it's just a thing that comes with rng and makes sense either to leave the same or change.

On the plus side it has very cute graphics and it gets a chuckle out of me when buying a giraffe.
Sense the game is still in beta I may play it after a few patches and change my review, but for now it's simply too frustrating to recommend. But by all means try it out for yourself if you have the time and see what you think about it for yourself, and if you can enjoy it where I can't than cheers to you!
