I would reccomend this to:
- Cheeki Breeki Fans of S.T.A.L.K.E.R, or people who enjoy the setting of the Metro Franchise of books and games
- People who enjoy Metal Slug style 2D animations and art
- People who enjoy Survival-Strategy-Simulation games like Frostpunk, Banished, Darkest Dungeon, Oxygen Not Included!, and the XCOM franchise

Its a 2D Management-Strategy game. It plays as a sidescroller where your job is to secure as much territory in the left and right metro tunnels as possible, and protecting your station and outposts from Mutant attacks in the night from wave attacks. it can be quite punishing if you slip up, but it feels rewarding rwhen I take risks, which is important to me in a game at least. the tutorial leaves much to be desired as I feel it taught me little to nothing. seems this game you are meant to die and learn from mistakes so patience is a virtue. you can be really far into a really successful run, just to slip up on paying attention to time while looting crates, and get spam killed by random mutants in the night beyond the perimeter of your walls. at the moment, there are two playable characters, and one well crafted level. we have a roadmap for new content to expect soon, and I enjoy this game enough that i'm pretty excited for whatever is coming next for Until We Die

this game is in my opinion, one of the best games to come out this year. the world that frostpunk takes place is honestly one of the most atmospheric and beautiful I have seen in a long time. the gameplay can keep you on edge and interested for hours, and the amount of depth they give the people of the community you are in charge of is amazing. every decision you make has weight to it. you may think making a minor choice in the immediate situation will make everything turn out all right, but your people will remember that. every law you pass can be life or death to the people. and the music is absolutely breathtaking. the team puts a lot of care and effort in the game, and since release has just added more and more free content. they presented us with a roadmap after launch, and have never missed a deadline on their promises
I don't think any of the Cons of the list below are really bad for the game, think of them more as warnings. this game can be difficult. if you like a challenge or have the patience to work out problems, you'll do fine.

Pros:
-The Laws and Choices system. its very balanced. lawscan give you a huge bonus, but hace drastic consequences to go along with them. this also includes The Science and Technology System. I think the cost of reasources reflects the value you get from the resulting boon on your economy quite well
-The Music. I can't even describe it in words. just go listen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uLF6VFME2jc&ab_channel=11bitstudios
-The Enviroment. I can't even express how much work went into making this a stunning game. also THE SNOW PHYSICS! when you workers walk through fresh snow they leave trails, and snow continues to pile up as the game goes on. its proximity to heat sources melts it, and the more citizens walk through and area, the more trodden the path will become. its a small thing that can really make a difference
-The Core Gameplay. If you like simulation management games (like Banished to name a similar game) then this game is perfect for you. you try to constantly balance and maintain your stockpile of supplies whilst also trying to maintain a workable level of heat for your citizens. the more heat you use, the more coal, the less heat you have, the more citizens you have that are sick or hurt that can't work.

Cons:
-It's a Delicate Ecosystem. Minor changes to coal outputs, or placing you work station just a bit too far from a heat source can drastically change your work effort and output. you need to invest wisely and sometime you HAVE to make a hard choice in the short term that will pay off later down the line.
-The Game will throw Curveballs randomly. Its a little bit RNG, if you get easily frustrated by roadblocks, be wary. it can make the game feel more like a different expierience every time, but sometimes it can spoil the fun with how delicate your supply balance is
-Learning through trail and error. for example the souting system it makes or breaks the game. you get more citizens through scouting parties and more valuble reasources like steam cores. the game doesn't all make clear how valuble they are for gathering reasources you yourself can't produce

Overall, as a Game i'd rate it a 9/10
As a Simulation Management game? 10/10
this is my favorite game to come out this year. I highly reccomend it.
