An enchanting city-building roguelike


If you've enjoyed the meditative experience of digging around in minecraft or thoughtfully planning out neighborhoods in Sim City, check this out.

If you're looking for a low key game that you can play for a few minutes at a time, in between competitive games or while watching a show, this is for you.

I leave the relaxing music on even when I'm not playing, I personally dig the art style and for the price, it can't be beat.

There is a solid variety of islands and buildings, it's easy to get lost in your head as you imagine the customs and culture developing in your growing island nation.

The replay value will go as far as you want it to - it's definitely more about the journey than the high score, with the ambiance and art doing the heavy lifting. Developing your island is enabled by a point system where building certain buildings in a certain proximity to each other or natural resources will reward you with points, and acquiring enough points will give you access to more buildings. It is forgiving and you can expect to forget that losing is even an option - if you are looking to sink your teeth into the technical aspects and tinkering of a detailed sim, this prob isn't for you. Otherwise, stop reading and get this game already!
