Just to give some context on my experience with this type of game- I have very little playtime in this genre and the only game that's even slightly comparable I have played is Total War: WARHAMMER II. Obviously not a fair comparison to the indie dev, but it is the only prior game (that I can remember) I have played like this.

The game feels more like an idle mobile game than it does an active PC management game. The only management part that takes up time is the strange distribution system. Combat is simple, lacks diversity in enemy and unit types and after roughly 2 hours of playing I didn't see any way of healing what units I did have.

The distribution system also confuses me. It might just be me not understanding the concept, but this mechanic is what is going to prevent me from coming back. I tried to route a certain resource back to the HQ to sell it, and it just sat where it was. Storage buildings did provide a path for the AI to bring the resource, but I just couldn't get it to ship. This caused a bottleneck where I couldn't ship out other resources, therefore couldn't bring in cash, which made my workers angry and stop working. Basically, this one mechanic killed the whole colony. (I did report this as a bug, but again I'm unsure of if I did something wrong or not.)

Overall a simple early access game that has potential and is fun, but unfortunately my frustration outweighs what fun I did have. I hope the dev continues to work on this game and improve it. I would like to give this game another go if the distribution mechanic is simplified/improved or overhauled, but with it being such an integral part of the game I don't foresee it changing.

I would like to recommend this game, but in it's current state the $10.99 price tag seems a little steep, and I did get this game for free. If I had purchased it, I would be refunding at this point.

Not worth your money, same game as the first one. Don't believe anything the devs say about coming updates or any promises they make about the future of the game.

For the price, I was expecting a shallow game, but it has a surprising amount of depth.
