47's ability for people to ignore his big, scary face after he was caught garroting a security guard by changing his hat is miraculous at best.

I will say, the disguise mechanic (constant drain during Instinct) can get a bit annoying; having to scratch your head every time you want to walk in front of Stevie Wonderboy without being interrogated for looking scary can get very irksome, but it can be so easily mended by punching said Wonderboy in the face and placing his body in a compromising position with the security guard in the broom closet.

Overall, good game. The maps are a lot more tight-knit than before, but it's truly a game for the stealth enthusiast.

Or a shoot-'em-up, for you wierdos out there.

Lovers of the stealth genre will find this game appealing. Swordplay and a good arsenal of tools and powers will lead you to find multiple, interesting way to deal with your assigned targets. People may find the game reminiscent of classic 'Thief' games, if Garrett had a knife and a tattoo on the back of his hand that let him teleport and freeze time and space.

I will say, the game is a tad short, but it's structured to allow multiple playthroughs, as your actions affect the world around you.

Oh, and you can freeze time and make a guard step in front of his own bullet.

That's always fun.

Run.

Flee. Do not download this well-balanced, constantly-updated shooter. Return to where you came.

Hours will go by in a blink of an eye. The game is constantly dropping new weapons for you to toy with, forging a play-style that's all your own, whether it is the infamous Phlog Pyro, the combat Engineer, or the Demoknight. Each new weapon has its advantages and disadvantages, so choose your weapons wisely.

The achievement system will drain your soul from you. You will spend hours attempting to grind up some achievements for the additional weapons it gives you. Some achievements are specificly made to reward longer playtimes (such as obtaining a total of one MILLION healing points as a medic) and cater to those who like a bit of gratification for their hard efforts.

The TF2 community is varied and incredibly complicated. Many servers have made modified the game's mechanics for a more interesting experience - a x10 server will show you the overpowered potential your weapons can become; a Randomizer server will force you to adjust your playstyle based on whichever weapons have been given to you, ranging in usefulness or absurdity.

Customization will drag you deep within the confines of the trading community. The occasional hat drop will encourage you to customize your character to forge your own identity. TF2's economic system is based around metal, keys, and earbuds - containing the qualities of good currency. On trade servers you will see dedicated individuals, peddling their wares in an attempt to make a profit. The coveted Unusual hats, or limited-availability items (Big Kill, Max's Head, ect.)

The game's visual design is bright and colorful, and the various classes each have their own individual personalities, expressed in their Meet the Team videos and their in-game quotes. Each class offers a unique play-style, with different statistics and special abilites to ensure that it can be difficult at times to find yourself bored.

The game looks generally great, even on the lowest graphical setting. It's aged well and has been polished to near-perfection. Most computers should have little to no difficulty running it.

What are you doing?! Get away from that download button! Don't do it!

...

Fiddlesticks.
