I am a 39 years old man with a lifelong passion for gaming, mainly playing MMOs and RPG games.
Over the years I have collected a respectable library and it is my dream to play and review each game based on my experience with them.

Other than video games, I enjoy sci-fi and fantasy books, comics and tabletop RPGs. I am also into gadgets & technology.

As I get older, I find that I have less friends, and most of them are sadly not gaming anymore.
I like genuine people that you can have deep conversations with and develop a real connection.

Steam Controller (2015)
Merits:
▪ Extreme customisation
▪ Supports any games, even ones not designed with controllers in mind
▪ Steam Input that works with other types of controllers as well
▪ Dual stage triggers
▪ Precise gyro
▪ Back pedals

Flaws:
▪ Steam overlay does not always work with 3rd party overlays/launchers
▪ Hard to get used to at first
▪ ABXY buttons are smaller and in an awkward position
▪ No longer manufactured/sold

Verdict:
What an interesting controller. My absolute favourite (I own 3 of them).

At first the layout of the thumb-stick and the ABXY buttons are a bit strange, however if you stick with it, it eventually becomes second nature.
If you are willing to put in the hours to re-learn the controls, you will not want to go back.
Otherwise, you won't enjoy it very much.

Valve, please create an updated version of this controller with hall-effect sticks and triggers.
