Absolutely charming game. Relaxing and a great way to waste away a few hours.

I would previously have warned the non-hardcore rogue-like lovers to avoid this game. It has a slow progression that really rewards you for playing, however it had a permadeath that removed ALL progress. The developers quickly responded to community feedback and provided a new game mode that removes the perma death.

Amazing game and not the type of experience I was expecting when I got a VR headset (HTC Vive).
I did not have any trouble learning the controls, though a handful of the jumps tooks me a few tries. The scenes were beautiful and the story simple but engaging. I really felt like I was fulfilling the role of my character.

My only gripe is the length of the game. I felt as though I spent a bit of time visually exploring every scene and I got a near 100% completion after my first run. I was missing 3 scrolls and a bit of dust which I can probably go back and get in less than 30 minutes. It took me 3 hours to beat the game. Price wise, that's not a great conversion.

That said, I will definitely get the sequel if they make one.

A simple hack and slash rogue-like with randomly generated dungeons in which you must retrieve a magic artifact and escape. Game is slowly improving and fun to play, however beware the sudden difficulty increase at the last dungeon level. You'll go from kicking butt to gameover in a few seconds.

I recommend this game with a few cautionary marks. It is an early release game, so expect bugs, and the controls are pretty wonky. Although I'm glad to own it and see where the game is going, I am not playing it until the game recieves some needed updates.
