Well, this was definitely one of the (if not the) best experience I had in a Metroidvania for a long time.
Outstanding graphics, amazing OST and a good character development, so please... Just play it when you have the $, it's worth it if you like Metroidvanias and mandatory if you like Greek Mythology.
Final Score: 9 crystals and one teddy bear. 10/10!

Well, this is was a good ride, because I never managed to play this on the DOS, but after playing this nowadays my opinion is: It's a good game, with an outstanding voice acting, nice gameplay and unique characters, so just go for it and try! But beware, if you don't like Point'n Click games, don't buy it for the full price, wait for a discount!
Steam is charging more than 20 bucks in my currency for this game, is it worth it? In my opinion, no. I bought is for 7 and it's more than fair for me.
I'll give it a eight plus a biker and a preacher, a whole 10 for it!

Well, that was a great surprise for me! I saw the first moments on a YouTube channel a long time ago and I had lots of fun watching it. Then I bought it and yeah, it was way funnier than I thought.

Graphics are amazing, the comic like scenes make everything so alive that you want to explore the stages. The game doesn't have any voice acting, but the O.S.T. and sound effects are top tier, matching everything!

Controllers? Perfection! A little difficult on the beginning, but after the tutorial and the first stage you just go for it. Try to collect all of the prisioners, it was so worthy to do everything on this game.

I'll give this game nine observant pachyderms plus one whole jar of peanut butter. A 10/10.

PS: This game doesn't back up saves, I played it today after some years, but luckily I had mine saved somewhere haha

First time I played this game was in 2.017 with my old laptop, it ran on 10 FPS tops. Now in 2.023 I finally did 100%, and here is my opinion about it:

Oh, if you have any issues booting the game, there are some tutorials here on Steam, hope they can help you on that.

Moving on, the gameplay is very fluid, everything works on the gamepad. The sound could be better, the voice acting is just ok, there are no memorable lines and the O.S.T. is barely audible, but I listened to it with more care and it is good, but again not memorable. Graphics are on the spot for a 2.014, you can see some parts were rushed.

And just one image for the collectibles? Come on, you could do better than that! Also, listening to the bosses talking without opening their mouth is just terrible. Last game I remember that I've seen that was on the PS2! Plus, it was also a Capcom game, called Shadow of Rome.

Final Score: Five Fallen Striders and One Pow, a well earned 6 out of 10.

If you are searching for a beat'em up or a souls like, this game is NOT like that. This one is press the button on the right time (like Guitar Hero and lookalikes).

That been said, it's a great surprise to play it! The controllers answer pretty well, graphics are nice, hand drawn and matching the atmosphere. Monsters are very well designed, worthy of the Lovecrafian world (just the insects that made me confused haha). O.S.T. is ok, I just listened two songs, one of the main menu and one of the game itself.

Well, I think that's pretty much it. I'll give it a 7 plus one tentacle. A whole 8 for this!

Funny, well designed, difficult (if played on Impossible Mode) and will entertain you!

Long version:

The O.S.T. is very good, matching the Italian atmosphere in the game, my personal favorite is on the bridge stage: "Johnny, I Hardly Knew Ya".
Animations and graphics are very good and fluid, had loads of laughter when they did the classic Italian hand sign lol.
So does the gameplay, the guns and general movement of the character answer properly, just be careful when you are blazing guns and the ammo runs out.
Well, this game has some minor bugs, like getting stuck on steps or on the floor after a jump, but nothing stopped me from progressing.
I'll give it a full 7 plus one Cannoli, total of 8!
