🔞 ADULT: Profiles/ - High Quality

The campaign is awful and horribly written despite having some fun and creative missions. most of the current cast of characters have no involvement and the new characters are lackluster or downright terrible. its pointless and makes no sense and coming of the back of witch queen it feels like a slap in the face.
The new zone is mid, it looks pretty and has a decent amount of enemy density for things too fight. but there is a severe underwhelming amount of unique activity's or activity's in general lacking from the zone. whats the point of having a new zone if there isnt much too do in it.

there is 3 new exotic quests which is extremely low for your money's worth.
there is only 1 new strike and it isnt even that good.

i dont give credit for QOL changes such as loadouts that should have been in destiny ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 1.

so for 40-60 bucks you get a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ campaign with a boring zone, a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ strike and underwhelming activity's. and 3 new exotic quests. not worth the money, you are practically getting ripped off.

oh and for the 100 dollar edition (the one that i got)

well you'll get all the seasons and two dungeons.

but the seasonal model hasnt changed at all which is absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. so your gonna get the usual so too speak.
and the dungeons that you shouldnt have too pay for are....well dungeons, they are usually good, but to have too pay ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ extra for them when the base edition is trash is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid. its stupid you have too pay for them on its own let alone in these circumstances.

strand is fun and good tbh (no problems there except the fact that half the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ story revolves around it and it doesnt make sense story wise)

but

no new crucible maps

no new gambit maps

no new modes for crucible or gambit or any updates at all

no updates to any major systems or the atrocious and out of date power grind.

no updates on the resource mechanics

oh and there is a new raid as per usual

witch queen showed that bungie could improve on one of there biggest problems (narrative).
and it should have continued too this expansion, where then they could improve on the entirety of the game.
not just expansion to expansion, rinse and repeat, move on and forget about the rest of the game.

but they fell face first and went the opposite direction.

sure, its still destiny. the combat and gunplay is still great, but it isnt where it should be.

and right now the pricing is where it really bothers me, this stuff could be more forgivable if it wasn't ludicrously expensive too play the game and new expansions. too get all the content for the new expansion and year it costs 100 dollars. and while youll get your dollar per hour, theres a solid chance you wont be having as much fun as you could have if the quality of the content was better.

the best thing about the witch queen expansion is it showed me what a quality destiny expansion should look like. the bar is set, and unless im getting witch queen quality or better. then it isnt worth the money.

the witch queen, taken king, forsaken should be the base standard. and for a billion dollar company, there is no excuse for them not being able too make a good-great expansion. and they shouldnt have too sell the entirety of the content for anymore then 60-70 dollars. dont sell off parts of the game too the deluxe edition if the base edition isnt finished. that is just greedy, and anyone who doesnt see that is a moron.

this is the first time im considering quitting the game, as addicted as i am. i dont like the feeling of wasting my money.
