Starts off interesting, but it falls apart hard by the end of the first act.
Fights become a slog of slowly whittling down enemies with debuffs, while trying to cleanse the many debuffs the enemy is trying to whittle YOU down with.

On top of that are the annoying attempts to make you buy the DLC's.
See a cool portal? Oops, you don't own that DLC, come back later.
See that new shop? You don't own that DLC either.

6 hrs in and I already feel like I've played far too much and gotten nowhere. It became a chore and not fun.

- Terrible "Engagement based" matchmaking, designed to "churn" players.
- Forced BOT games in Quick Play (if you lose 2 or more games, it puts you against bots without telling you
- Matchmaking SO BAD, you regularly play against Platinum rank and above players, despite being in Bronze yourself.
- Seasonal buffs that randomly make heroes over-tuned for NO reason (eg: Luna Snow gets 15% more healing this season for.....no real reason!)

Not even 3 levels in and the game already introduces an enemy you CANNOT fight and must run from. Incredibly un-fun and just makes the game annoying for no good reason.
Couple this with rooms full of mobs that can body block you, you wind up dying to death's shadow that just...appears randomly and follows you around for about 20 seconds at a time, every 10-15 seconds.

First of all, For everyone hoping to see booba, don't bother, the art is a few static images in a bikini.

It's not bad, the whole theme is an interesting idea, "upgrading" different body parts gives you access to different classes and spells.
There is one really misleading part on the menu screen, you can "unlock" images of each of the classes once you master them and it looks like you can play as them.....You can't they are just static images on the main menu to look at.
The game itself has some serious balancing issues with it, that take a lot of the fun out of it.
Some classes are incredibly overpowered and game-breaking (Curse & Projectiles), some are unreliable but cool (Explosion & Area), Melee is interesting, but weak on its own and Familiar is basically unplayable on anything past easy without two specific flower upgrades.
The flower upgrades RANDOMLY spawn somewhere on the map and you have to go and get them, the upgrades are random as well.

All in all, a bit of fun, could do with more balancing, content (and more risque art, we all know why we clicked this devs, let's be real).
I'd give it a 6/10 for the fun it gave me at a decent price.

Given that Sony has rescinded the requirement for the PSN account, I have changed my review back to a positive one.

This game looks great, it had been on my wish list for a few months and I bought it on sale.
As I'm sure steam tells you, I refunded the game after less than 1 hour.
I played for the first time, made my character, a Naga (snake thing), immediately upon moving, I realised the sound was bugged and my SNAKE character, has the default footstep sound, not a slithering noise...might seem small, but its every step I take, and it really irked me.
So I went to the steam forums to see if anyone had noticed this issue, or reported it etc.
It has apparently been reported before, in May of 2022, a literal year ago, with zero developer attention since then.

After seeing that, and then seeing a paid DLC already (game is VERY recently out of EA), and seeing the negative reviews/reddit posts stating the insane amount of bugs and unfinished state of the game (One example was you can get an enchanted fishing rod...but the enchanted fish dont exist yet), I decided to refund it rather than support this kind of developer behaviour.

I hope the devs fix this game, it has real promise from the little I saw.

Caught hats, earned a gold desk, got desk stolen next level.
Was forced to complete insurance forms while chugging some form of cheap wine.

10/10 would sign Yahtzee's name drunk again.
