A cute, cosy town game without the stress of other town management sims. Graphics are adorable and the gameplay is engaging. You can get lost decorating small areas or expand your town quickly and efficiently.

who knew trying not to die from starvation could be so chic

I had dabbled in top down RPGs before but have never got this addicted. For a game from 2017 the graphics still hold up and the combat is interesting. The first 2 acts were my favourite as the story got a bit hard to follow towards the end with the combat becoming less challenging but still fun nonetheless.

The game has a steep learning curve but it feels good when you beat a fight perfectly due to the difficulty. Will probably start a 2nd save when I have the time.

So far I have been enjoying my experience but you can tell the game is still into early access. I came straight from finishing Divinity Original Sin 2 so if you want a bug free experience of a similar game i would recommend that. Baldurs gate 3 is pretty and character creation is vast and allows you to make very personable characters. As someone who hasnt played D&D more information on the different races, classes and subclasses would be helpful however learning the game is half the fun.

- Bugs i experienced so far include:
- lighting flashing.
- the camera not moving near large structures.
- characters not being able to move in combat.
- a few clipping issues.
- fps issues when entering new areas/auto save areas.

Regardless i have been having fun and these issues will probably be ironed out when the game fully launched. Im quite chill when it comes to bugs but if this is something you cant look past wait till launch.
