While I did have some gripes with the gameplay/combat, the narrative is incredible. It's not just a game, its art.

I want to give it the benefit of the doubt since it is still in Early Access....but it has so many baffling design choices it's hard to enjoy.

They removed sockets from gear because it was bad in PoE1. Great! Then they added sockets back with runes. Why?! They solved the problem and reintroduced it at the same time.

It's slow, has very little player choice, and no crafting just RNG. It looks great though so I guess theres that.

Don't bother. The story and building mechanics are great, but the combat will make you want to throw your computer out the window.

Lots of potential, and most of it is wasted.

I don't mind having to manage my thirst, food, inventory, and temperature but having to manage diseases, corruption, and debuffs on top of that gets very frustrating very quickly. I went into one area where I was poisoned by one enemy, set on fire by another, and then slowed by a third. On top of that the area was full of corruption with a giant at the end. I died several times which gave me a disease, got corrupted, and it put me further into the area so it was harder to escape. I like hard games, but there is no fun in having to deal with so much crap, just to get beat down by the monsters anyway in the very clunky combat.

I like hard games like Dark Souls, Path of Exile, Elden Ring, etc. Those games are hard but fair, this one is just hard with bits of unfair sprinkled in sometimes.

The gear is all very cool looking and fun to obtain. I think the graphics are neat, especially the lighting and I really want to enjoy this but its like drudging through mud to find a shred of fun.

FromSoftware's best game yet.

$50 for the base game, 3 season passes for $30 and pay for DLC. Insane.

Only one camera view, can't search and download custom tracks, the basement serves no purpose that I have seen and its a loot box grind. I don't think they could have messed this up more if they tried.

The questing gives zero direction and the mobs always seem to out level you. I can't leave the first town without dying and am running in circles to figure out the quests. I'm very disappointed by this well reviewed game and I wish I could refund it.

One of the best games I have ever played. Period.

Fun and relaxing game to kill a few hours with.

This is a great game with a lot of content, but with that said it is also glitchy and hard to use without the use of user created mods.

Now that those mods can be placed within a paywall and is ripping the modding community apart, the same one that has kept this game alive many more years than it would have normally, I can no longer support it or its developer.
