Just leaving this review as a reminder they can change the terms of the sale after your warranty has expired

Used to play a lot, but didnt for a while. A few weeks ago I got the itch and started a campaign again. I had a feeling something was off, when suddenly whurzzag was on my doorstep with at least 10 armies. Campaign was very frustrating to play after that.

Later via the internet I realized that my experience was likely caused by a bug that complety breaks 11 legendary lords. This bug has a huge snowball effect that impacts basicly any campaign, because other factions that normally fight the now broken factions, are not challenged. This makes them grow very fast, disturbing the balance on nearly the entire map.

Then hearing that CA knew about this and thought it would we okay to let the bug stay on for an indefinite amount of time (first wanting to release the dlc, but there is not even a releasedate for that yet). That just broke me. This isn't the first time the management has done something like this.

CA has a policy of only fixing things when the community bands together in outrage. They dont fix the game because it is the right thing to do. And I just don't want to deal with this anymore. I dont want to feel obliged to complain loudly just to play the game I bought. A working game should be a given, when I give you my money. It should not be something I should beg for.

For this reason I will distance myself from the TW series and not sink any more cash into it. Maybe if CA makes some proper management and development-policy changes will I come back.

For now I would not recommend spending your money on Total War, unless you have the energy for the activism that is necessary.

I can't download it, when i click the download button in the store it opens the launcher and when im in game and try to start the campaign it says 'claim free content' and when i click it it open the store again?? do more people have this loop problem?

It's a good game, just not a fun one.
Snipers really are ruining the game and the matchmaking also isn't fair,
one game you will win dominantly and the other game you get slaughtered, I haven't had a single game where the score was close.
