This dlc is so bad it almost made me quit the game.

The first thing you should know, is that if you start this dlc, you'll be locked out of playing the main game until you finish it. It's one of the first quests right after the prologue, so it's very easy to softlock yourself early on. All of the problems with the core gameplay are on full display in this dlc. Hate forced stealth sections? Check. Hate fighting multiple enemies and getting stunlocked? Double check. Hate fetch quests? we got you covered too. The story is predictable and played out. Playing the game from a different perspective as another character would be great if the game wasn't an open world rpg. However, none of your progression carries over, so the levels you gain and the loot you find are completely worthless, making the entire experience feel like an unrewarding waste of time. On top of that you can't even equip half the loot you find, because the game decided to lock you out of armor for this dlc.

The first hour of the dlc is just fetch quests and dialogue. It's tedious but not to bad. It honestly just feels like a second prologue. However after the intro the rest of the dlc is basically a forced stealth segment. The stealth segment is plagued with RNG and bad AI making it atrocious to get through. Despite being short and linear the combat in the dlc is still based on character skill level which will basically be 0 because you aren't playing as Henry. This means that any time the AI or stealth mechanics bug out you are basically dead. The decision to include these RPG mechanics in a linear stealth sequence for a short dlc is honestly baffling. The only saving grace of this burning dumpster fire of a dlc is that it is short. I was praying at the end of every mission for the dlc to be over, so I could go back to playing the main game.
