This is painful to write, because i've been playing all the previous games, and had many sleepless nights with my friend having a lot of fun, but this is just ridiculous :

I see everyone complaining about the barricades system, because they can't make their own path like before. Sure it changes a lot the way you take care of the orcs, but it's not game breaking.

The major problem i have, is the lack of of maps. Yes they are bigger, but you basically end up doing always the same pathway for orcs, because its the most efficient. So everytime you end up on a specific map, you just know what you're going to do. It gets boring really quick, especially when there are no "tense" moments. You get a time break at the end of every wave.

When you compare the amount of different maps on the previous games with this one.. It's honestly hard not to get angry.
Yes the game is rogue-lite, but since there is almost no change in the way the maps are played... having so few is a huge downside.

The traps are also not balanced, making some playstyles very hard, and other broken. But i guess that can be changed with patches.

However i like the idea of the "threads" at the end of each wave, I just wish it would change every run more than just giving you small buff/debuff to your traps and weapons. The "cursed" threads are the most interesting, but they happen rarely.

I bought the game, played it, probably will keep doing so with my friends for 10 more hours, and thats it. If you're new to the franchise, just go play Orc Must Die 2, which is just way better in my opinion.
