I didn’t expect much when I first played Hollow Knight, but this game completely pulled me in. The atmosphere is insane its so dark, mysterious, and beautiful at the same time. The soundtrack plays a huge part in that too. It’s not like any music, no. It’s something so immersive, I find myself listening to it even when I’m not playing. It sticks with you and sets a mood that’s hard to describe. What surprised me most though is how much this game taught me outside of just playing. It’s not just about reflexes or skill. It really makes you practice patience, think critically, and react quickly. Some of the bosses and challenges felt impossible at first, but the more I tried the more I saw progress. That sense of knowing you worked hard to progress is one of the most rewarding feelings I’ve had in a game. It’s the kind of accomplishment that gives you a boost in real life too. I’m fascinated by how much thought went into creating this world. The more I explore, the more I appreciate the details and just how much care is behind it all. Hollow Knight keeps surprising me the deeper I go and it honestly feels like a masterpiece.
