8/10 A really pleasant first entry in The Witcher franchise, an interesting story and a memorable group of characters to support it.

Make your own choices to become a ruthless Witcher or one that disobeys a Witcher's morality. Each chapter has a massive distinct location with different types of enemies and quests depending on where you are.

The gameplay from 2008 hasn't aged incredibly, the combat is based on clicking on enemies and timing clicks to create combos which can be jarring sometimes. The combat in combination with slow traversal (no sprint, fast travel or mounts) becomes gruelling at parts of the game where you are walking from one area to another, often having to pass through even more areas to reach your destination.

However, those are my only grudges with the game which are easily overshadowed by the rich world building and gripping story. Its absolutely worth a playthrough and I'm excited to try out the other games. P.S. If you enjoy Dragon Age Origins, you'll enjoy The Witcher for sure.

Personally, I did enjoy Dispatch but my expectations for the finale and the game itself just weren't met. 6/10

The story was charming; taking on the role of Dispatch for a team of supervillains felt daunting in the beginning but you really grow fond of the team. Each day you learn a little bit more about each villain and the relationships between them, its nice. Sadly towards the end, the plot does get overwhelming with twists that didn't get enough time to develop and you're left with a feeling of whiplash and the sense that a lot of content was cut (seemingly because of budget or time constraints).

I love the high stakes in choice based games, when every choice and QTE matters: Until dawn, Telltale's 'The Walking Dead' and Detroit Become Human do it well; Dispatch does not. For the quick time events, if you miss one, it doesn't matter... literally nothing happens, you just move on.

Now the choices themselves do have a purpose, they alter the story, but not enough to make the player feel like they've made a change. Each episode I kept a mental note of the previous choices I made, wondering how they are going to affect the future:

'When I have to save someone who should I save?, Who is going to die because of this decision?, I regret choosing that, she/he is bound to die because of that!'

Spoiler alert: There's no threat of death for any characters, no choosing 'A' or 'B' to save and no real remembrance of any smaller choices you made (apart from things like what type of donut you enjoy). It's disappointing to say the least.

Just as good as the first game but it has even better combat and gameplay itself. Features like hacking and research have been greatly improved since Bioshock 1. You now play as a Big Daddy, the type of enemy you previously feared so greatly (as impressive as that sounds, being one doesn't change gameplay much). In my opinion, the story is slightly weaker than Bioshock 1 but I was still very invested, I just hoped for some more pivotal moments like the first one. I'm really enjoying playing the franchise as someone going in completely blind, I just regret not playing sooner.

Would you kindly read below? - 9/10

I went into Bioshock completely blind other than recognising the iconic imagery from years prior. I regret not playing it sooner; the game is incredible. The story is thoroughly engaging, especially when you pay attention to the lore found in the environment and audio diaries. You wont be overwhelmed with too many special powers or weapons but you do have a great selection; there was some weapons and plasmids I rarely touched due to preferring the basics.

The only tedious feature in the game is the hacking minigame (which can be improved with precious perk slots, but who wants to waste those?). Another minor annoyance in the game is the 'U-Invent' machines not displaying how much of an item you already own so you sometimes waste materials crafting something you cant carry. However, these drawbacks are just me being nit-picky, they really don't affect the gameplay whatsoever.

It was definitely better in my memory, it hasn't aged well. - 4/10

The games full of repetitive fetch-quest gameplay, Banoi isn't nearly as iconic as the first island and the story is boring. The combat is satisfying at times but its mostly clunky (like getting locked into an animation mid fight or your finishing move just not working). I sadly had no interest in completing the side missions and found myself doing only main missions to get the game over with.

Also you have a deathwish if you decide to drive a boat... the zombies will swarm you whilst driving and getting out, its unbearable.

First off, the price is outrageous, don't buy it on Steam. However the game is really good. Unlike most people, I didn't think the combat was a chore but it can be clunky and unforgiving sometimes.

I did find the games story really confusing towards the end but I found most of my questions were answered at the ending and by discussing with others. The atmosphere was haunting at times but not really scary, I'd say the creepiest section of the game was the school and it definitely felt most like Silent Hill there.

Lastly, you're bound to have a second play through on NG+ because you only have access to 1 of 5 endings on your first play through.
