its alright

Rogue Legacy is without a doubt one of the best rogue-lites available for purchase to date. whether it's the well paced, well balanced leveling and upgrading mechanics or the silky smooth movement an combat there is little to criticize in terms of the base game. Replays of hte content in "new game +" however leave much to be desired as its primarliy the exact same content as far as story tombs and world exploration with a few bonus boss fights for the second go around. this wouldn't be a problem if it wasn't for the fact that you are able to and encouraged to do more than one replay and it gets harder each time you play through without actually altering a mechanic or flipping a game convention on its head. that being said at tthe time of this review its 3 friggin dollars. BUY. THIS. GAME. (tbh its worth the 15 too) UPDATE: without a doubt one of my favorite games of all time. I've invested more time into this game than most of my relationships and damn did legacy put out. between smooth gameplay and an engaging unlock tree I can always count on RL to offer me an hour escape and some fun mind numbing slash and dashing.

this game needs keyboard controls instead of it's current mouse contols they're outragously bad. shmups are not playable on a mouse. if the creator fixes the controls it would actually be a very cool game with pretty nice music, but until then it's not a very good shmup and would definatley not recommend it.

This game is absolutley magnificent! I'm a big fan of the GGXX concept "Badass fighting mechanics meets badass rock and ♥♥♥♥♥♥' roll!!" If your a fan of fighting games and love metal/rock this is a mest own. The movement is so fluent and clean it's insane. I do have a few cons towards this title aswell, such as all the women in this game all are either a walking pair of boobs, or are nine. They also all seem to have been attacked by clothes wolves, because they're down to rags barely covering there nipples and vulvas, but if you can get passed the attire of the women oyu're left with a fantastic fighter with a very diverse list of characters.

I do have one more note that my joystick on my fight pad would not work with this game but I managed to work around by using Joytokey and and using that program for my fighting stick. a little inconvenient, but not all that terrible, and it also could just be me.
