Influx of negative reviews so I'm finally writing something

That people feel like they shouldn't have to pay for new characters that aren't part of the base game they originally paid for confuses me. It's like being mad a buy-it-once mmo has paid expansions. Like brother c'mon now

the course of my life altered after playing this game

I was worried I'd eventually not be able to figure out where to go and drop the game, but the movement in this game is so fun that even when I was a bit lost, I had fun looking around for new places to go. Seeing if you can cheese certain sections is quite fun too, although sometimes there is cheese prevention, which is funny to come across.

If you try to collect everything, or most everything, the boss fights are pretty easy. The movement can be challenging at times before you get all the tools, but still fun and feels great when you finally land a sick movement sequence.

better and more in-depth game than i expected based on the title, quite enjoyed it

A very far-out view of what our reality could be like behind the curtains. It's very deliberate when it wants to be creepy and when it wants to give you more information about characters or the world - of which both are really cool imo. It also doesn't take itself too seriously 100% of the time by adding in dialogue or scenarios that either leave you with unanswerable questions or keep you grounded by loosening tension just a bit.

It has similar issues to what all multiple-ending visual novels have, like the run-back to get a different ending. But, each story isn't too too long AND there's a fast forward button, which does help.

Overall, I really enjoyed experiencing this game. I dig the whole design. I'm inclined to say that I would prefer this game be like $8.00usd instead of 10, but the quality justifies the full price and probably a bit more for sure. I'm ready for the next game already.

The lighting and colors are pretty, but the gameplay didn't give a good first impression. Movement is basic and things I found in the dungeon didn't change how i played much let alone in interesting ways. Gameplay was kinda bland, no characters to get invested in; if there was a story, I didn't stay long enough to have it presented to me

One of my favorite games. Also, if you're going for achievements that require specific actions to be documented, like Lucatiel's story-line, don't play offline and be wary online, because it bugged for me in 4 playthroughs before I was able to have it register the achievement due to internet outages or functionally similar circumstances. It was pretty frustrating just because it takes a lot of time and effort to do everything required for it and also get to the end of the game, but I still love the game itself and had a lot of fun going back and perfecting the game after never beating it back on the Xbox 360.

Neat game to play if you have friends. If you don't have friends it's still okay if you like big, open, spooky, semi-confusing, survival-based games. Wish you could rebind the plane axe to a different number; there doesn't seem to be an option for that, but I could just be dumb idk. Anyway, uhhhhhhhhhh yeah it's pretty alright. Don't accidentally press 3 a bunch and waste all you meds like I did.
