I bought this game not expecting anything. But truth be told, this anusual game with its old school gameplay and great story was great way to pass some time.

Looking over reviews I can't understand why some people really dont like this game. Star Trek game is quite interesting and fun. It has almost everything:
Raptors-like aliens with blasters - check.
Hell holes - sure.
Long romantic walks with Kirk and Spock at space - you got it.
Tamable flying robotic pet - at your own efforts.
Mini games to keep you entertained - done.
I mean, this game has some (not even major) bugs (which I encountered just twice through 2 gameplays). The IA for me was ok (Not the best, but there were no incidents). Level design is a bit poor (whats with the need to load?).
Overall, Star Trek fans truly should try this game. Even if you don't particularly like Star Trek, but still enjoy good sci-fi game, you should check it out. Verdict: worth the price, best with a friend by the side.
