A long-form RPG has some substance to it, leaves time to wander the desert or have a conversation or hang out in a pub. It might not be the closest thing to real life but pacing-wise it's closer than a movie or a TV show or a novel.”

I mostly play open-world adventure games, flight simulators, building-management type games, real-life simulations, educational games, puzzles/mystery games, and virtual novels (with native speakers for my Japanese/English language study hobby), but I'm willing to give most games a trial, keep up with the new games if I can afford them, usually wait for sales.
