Two really big gripes with this game so far that are hard to ignore.
1. The movement is painfully slow, like so.... terribly... slow. WHY DO YOU NEED TO BUY A SHARD CARD TO BE ABLE TO SLIDE????? LIKE SLIDE MECHANIC SHOULD BE BUILT IN NO?
2. The games are simply way too short. Short games works for something like a COD but this is supposed to be a competitive shooter game. Making all of the rounds super short just takes the competitive nature out of it. There's a reason why all round based competitive shooter games like CSGO and Valorant have long games... it's because you're supposed to feel that intensity of losing or maintaining your lead. That doesn't exist here if every game is only first to 4. Maybe the ranked mode features longer games? But yeah this feels like a huge misstep.

Overall, I think if they re-work the movement system (literally just increase the movement speed and add a slide mechanic) and at least make the "ranked" mode first to 11 round wins or something like that, it could be a great game.

Good game

Yeah don't buy this game completely unacceptable. Times like these I really wish I had a PS5. I have an incredible PC and run everything flawlessly RTX 2060, game is completely unplayable even on lowest graphics settings. Poor optimization and just an unfinished game which is really a shame because I have been waiting for this game for a very long time. Completely unplayable constant stutters and lag 60fps is pretty much impossible, graphics actually look worse than the original dead space which came out over a decade ago. What a shame. I really hope I get my refund because this is just criminal. Honestly, the fact that video game companies keep getting away with this really should be addressed. I'd be surprised if Striking Distance Studios doesn't get sued for this.
