I sat down and completed this in just under 4 hours.
The game is beautifully tragic.

The world narrative is told through the setting which adds to the heartbreak of helping a mother fox survive in a changing world, through cruelty they can't understand. It visits the corners of love, desperation, pain, and loss, all while subverting the idea of stringent black and white morality.
These are the stories of everyone trying to survive a brutal and volatile world.

I was lured to this game by the promise of great story and multiple romances. I thought I'd find the gameplay intolerable, as someone who struggles with turn-based, heavy strategy games. It took me a long time to learn classes basic abilities and add onto that knowledge, but happy coincidence- this game encourages multiple playthroughs.
TL;DR
Came for the twink, stayed for the story.

Like (better than) Runescape if you didn't have to run (walk) everywhere. I still don't have enough bank slots to fund my crippling hoarding addiction. My dog left me. I ate pickled olives for three days so I didn't have to leave my pc. You will never have enough coal.
