This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful. The performance, the game play, everything. The only good part is Unreal Engine 5, which looks really good, when I'm not staring at floating rocks and 10 frames a second. The game play loop is awful if you're not playing single player.

Multiplayer is one of two paths; join PVE and lag all over because of 14 buildings in one area. Or PVP, where you have to no life to even stay alive in the game. I'm not even exaggerating either! You have to actually have to no life in the game to even keep progress, because there's not even any bumpers that would prevent you from losing everything. The game play is boring, the game is VERY unoptimized, and it gave my friend a migraine because of the low frame rate and saturated ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on my screen. Don't bother buying this game, the 50 dollar price tag is a pipe dream.

As a long time player of this game since Scorched Earth came out, I have more than enough credit to say my piece here. THIS GAME IS A SCAM, AND NOT WORTH YOUR ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MONEY PERIOD. I wish that wildcard would read this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ review and do something about it because it's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ slap in the face to long time fans of the original.
