As someone who has played the game since it first released i will say that this update has been the worst released. BUT I still like the DLC just not what this update did to the rest of the game.

The DLC content: The actual content for the DLC is good. The new survivors are really fun and the ways to unlock one of them is actually challenging which I like. The new items seem fine enough. The new stages look nice with the few new enemies just adding a little more to the game. Overall I like what was added for this DLC

The issues with the actual update: They seemingly broke the base of the game? I'm not sure why they would but they for some reason redid most of the base code for the game which has released a new hell of bugs on the game. Old bugs that had been fixed in the past have returned with a plethora of new bugs with it. It is a shame that they have even released the update in this state. Also they made the game run worse aswell, it is not horrible but I used to get capped FPS on this game consistently (except in super late god runs understandable) but now in this update the game seems unstable for general performance especially when any of the end stage portals are on screen.

With all this being said I still have given this a recommend because like I have said the actual content of the DLC is good and enjoyable. I still do think if you have loved Risk of Rain 2 you still love this DLC. Over time the bugs will be fixed but it is a shame that they even existed in the first place

I have 90 hours and still have no even beat the game. I do have multiple saves and am really close to finishing it in one of them but it still just shows the enormous amount of content that is packed into this game. With all the time I have played I can still only think about the thousands of things I can do differently to make the next play through different. Baldur's Gate 3 is an incredible game
