Wilds has been quite a trip. Feeling of a mix between World and Rise and combined it to make this. It's a new feeling having your hunter feel that they are involved in the story, rather than them being just empty-soulless husks.

Performance-wise, it does eat up quite a bit, but World had the same issues a few years back too.
Combat has been made a bit more fluid especially with the addition of focus-mode. It does give each weapon a certain personality with how they function. Big Weapon = Big Offset Parries <3.

But I don't know what type of other techs are they planning on adding in the next title updates for the future. Just like with Rise and their Switch-Skills, or World with it's Clutch Claw.

World already received all their title updates and events/collabs so you might want to give that a chance while waiting on future updates for Wilds.
Wilds gameplay too easy? Why not take a challenge in World that'll humble that thinking back down.

However, as much as I would've love to be invested in the story, it just didn't click with me. Gameplay-wise, they've done a good job, but writing could be expanded on a bit more. I do feel like the game as been quite a rush being released early, as some parts had to be included in a first title update? When they could've just had it in the first place.

I absolutely love the effort they've put on the endemic life and environment. Sometimes, just taking it slow and watching even the tiniest, insignificant bugs harvest plants; eventually making what we know as a Vigorwasp. Though I do look forward to eventually having personal quarters to see all the endemic life we've collected thus-far(coping).

Would I recommend? Yes, but take it with a grain of salt. The game does have its hiccups here and there, and I feel like the massive things new people would point out would be lack of content (for now) and its performance impact on gameplay.
(Also I LOVE the way the Layered Armor works now, quite easily accessible than every before. Gotta look your best hunting right?)
