I love this game but its not worth buying until the Low quality meal bug is fixed, you will be fined $5000 by the CEO every minute for not complying with the budget cuts, even if you are. This will bankrupt your prison and ruin all of your hard work. Bug has been prominent since 2021, devs aren't looking to fix it any time soon.

Before i begin writing why i don't like this game il first point out that i must have over 1000 hours of playtime on the xbox 360 version of this game. Having played every AC game that came before it Black Flag its easy to point out how much i loved the game series at that time. I think black flag is an amazing game, one of the last decent assassins creed games, however this cannot be said about that pc version.
The first issue i ran into was whilst playing was the free running, on keyboard and mouse it was tiresome and tedious. At once beloved aspect of the game was now annoying and time consuming. It felt like i couldnt enjoy the game without using a controller. I know the game is not designed for PC players and that a controller is highly recommended but i simply do not have access to one anymore.

If you do have a controller and want to feel nostalgic, or you simply want to experience the game for the first time then i highly recommend playing this game, however not on PC or at the very least with a controller.

The only way to begin this review is to let you know that this is not your average zombie game. Yes, it does include zombies however this is a story driven game. This means that, although a large chunk of the game if you braining the undead, the main focus of this game is the character development and story arcs you witness along the way. The game is tailored to the way you play, this means that every decision you make changes the outcome in a major way, ultimately this can result in characters having your back, or leaving you for dead. Even though the decisions you make won't keep you up at night, you'll find scenes where you regret your p[ast choices, or come to feel praised by in-game characters for your actions, these character interactions mean your questioning your choices all the time, it always mean the game has a large amount of replayability, finding out how the story changes because you saved him instead of her. I cannot keep writing without spoiling any major game plotlines so ill wrap it up, this is one of the best story driven games I have ever played, your always on your toes, you feel sympathy, hatred and love towards the characters and you genuinely begin to care what happens to them as the game goes on. If you are anyway interested in a solo story based xombies games, this is definitely a title you need to play.

When i first played this game in the early access branch, it was a mess. The combat however, was unlike any other game id seen. I diddnt however pre order the game because £50 is a steep asking price.

I then diddnt play then play the game until very recently when it bacame avaliable for the freeweekend trial, i downloaded it and had loads of fun playing it. It was nice to see that i could pick the game up and quite easily learn the basics of the characters.

The game felt like it had also come along way in optimization, it felt smoother, and looked alot better graphically then since id last played the title. At the end of the weekend i picked the standard edition up for about £13 which was a very nice deal.

If you are going to buy this game, i would reccomend buying the starter edition for £11. Its a great deal and certainly worth it if your thinking of buying the game. Its come along way and even though it have a very ♥♥♥♥♥♥ launch and slow progression, the devs have saved the game and although the player base is strill small, the game is certainly not dead.

Overall, me and my friend both really enjoy the game, farming for steel doesnt feel grindy, and the character balancing is not perfect but in a good place, regardless of what people say. In the 22 hours of game time, ive mainly played 2v2 and 1v1 online and ive enjoyed every game because every opponent plays differently and its always a challenege.

If your even slightly considering buying this game, i would say go for it because you can always refund it on steam and get your money back.
