It's a beautiful game with a cute companion. And I love the landscapes. Would recommend.

Well first I wrote this review yesterday:

It is sad, because I actually like playing this game. The gameplay is a hell lotta fun, especially if you are playing with friends but I can't recommend it right now. After the last update my save no longer works. I made a backup of it but it doesn't matter. Everytime I load into the game, it just wipes my inventory, stash and I no longer am able to buy anything at any vendor.

Secondly, I do not know if this has actually been fixed yet, allegedly it has been in the last patch but before this one it was like this: If you were playing with a friend and they were the host, you could not get the upgrade blueprints for the Nightrunner Tools like the Glider and the grappling hook. So you had to get the save file of the friend you were playing with. This was because if you were the client, your story does not really progress. If you had loaded your save on your own, you would have started where you last stopped playing on your own. In a Co-op game?! But like I said, I don't know if this issue has really been fixed because I already loaded the save from my friend so I could upgrade my tools.

That's all for now, I may edit my review in the future but not being able to load a save is kinda bad. If I didn't have a friend with a working save file my 31 hours of play time would have been lost and for nothing.

But I forgot that I modded the game to bring back the old zombie ragdolls and well, now I deleted the mod and the game works. So to bring this review to an end:

+ Fun gameplay, especially with friends
+ Absolutely beautiful looking (imo)

The story is fine but it won't blow your mind.
And Aiden (the main character) just opens doors in cutscenes so that someone can punch him in the face...mostly.

This Sequel is just amazing and I loved every minute of it! Though I didn't like the land exploring part that much but it is fine as it is.
If you liked Subnautica I am sure that you will love Below Zero cause I sure as hell did!
