Does anyone else feel this way?

It's basically speedroid zoodiac (either turn destruction)

OR

Wind witches for first turn crystal wing (either turn negation AND destruction)

OR

Metalfoes/pendulum archetypes (either turn monster grab)

OR

Blue eyes decks (which are okay, unless they summon chaos max, which still isnt too bad because of utopia lightning)

Frankly, it's really irritating. In the past, there wasn't usually a tier 0, decks were good but others could compete(most of the time). The crazier these decks are going, the less freedom we have to run decks we desire because we must keep up.

Pendulums are ridiculous! Unlimited summoning every turn?? Someone on this subreddit said its not bad because they open with 5 first turn anyway, but metalfoes just destroy a bunch then monster reborn them all. You know the drill.

Magicians have ridiculous effs. "Halve one of your opponents monsters atk, then destroy this card. When destroyed, special summon a dark spellcaster" so a free halve and ss... And fill the top of the extra deck.

It is ridiculous that at one time Yugioh was played where duels could go for 20 turns and we would tribute twice for blue eyes.(remember the show? 😃) Now what has it become? Does anyone feel like quitting? I dont even know how I feel, i don't exactly feel like quitting it's just that I'm salty with all these unfair decks.

I've stayed up in bed playing ygopro on my phone for 4-6 hours a few times. It was till 6 am and 8 am and 10 am. I don't know what it is my brain loves about my lumina discard one michael combo (amongst others) but it's just so addicting to me. I can't figure out why. Especially for the fact that when I'm playing, I'm not particularly having fun or anything. I love the thinking process and different situations I suppose?

What I know is I love comboing different archetypes together, but lately I just feel like all that is smushed by OP BS sucking the fun out.

Thoughts? Yes, this may be somewhat of a vent, but I really feel that the pendulum mechanic ruined yugioh.

Edit: yes there have always been tier 0s. The gap is growing now however. Tiers 0 and 1 are a lot stronger than 2 and 3 compared to the past
