I will probably continue to play the game despite this review because that's how Call of Duty's are now, I haven't played a single COD past Black ops 3 so take this with a grain of salt.

This game plays fantastic for the most part, a farcry from the original Modern Warfare's but still a pretty engaging time, you will easily get 300+ hours out of this game, the visuals are always outstanding and the actual combat and gunplay is really solid. there's a wide array of weapons for all different play-styles so you won't feel bored with just one playstyle over and over, and grinding for them is pretty fun, definitely an improvement over the previous iterations.

Now onto the bad, and I think this is where the game becomes not recommended for me.

Bugs. Bugs. Bugs. In this last hour alone, I've personally experience around 10-15 crashes just trying to play DMZ or Warzone, the actual MW2 part of the game is fine in itself, I rarely if ever crash on there, but one of the most successful battle royals crashing every single game is unacceptable, and it makes me wonder if they did any sort of testing at all, Highway exists and is a pretty bad map overall outside of the visuals, the steam version especially messes up a solid 90% of the time and currently the notifications system is bugged out and hardly works.

Overall, this game is a 5/10, if there was a mixed option for recommending I would have picked it but as it stands I'd either wait for a sale or wait a year or two for all the bad things to be patched out before picking up this game.

Probably The BEST Free Horror Game on Steam that isn't Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion. The game is very well-made for it being a simple unity engine game, and damn does it really nail the atmosphere, and if you want a challenge, this is probably also one of the tougher horror games, probably a long the lines of Emily Wants to Play too, and yes I'm willing to give it that rating because it can be extremely hard to play-through, and the enemies are fun, Pumpkin Jack is the most difficult enemy to deal with but after a few days of playing you'll get the hang of it.

Overall, 7/10, really good free-ware horror game with a sense of the fear of being alone in a maze with several creatures chasing after you, the creeps go down as you play but the creepy factor is still there throughout.

Honestly, one of the best hack and slashers on steam, its gameplay is honestly one of the most unique i've ever seen, and its based on one of my favorite rooster teeth shows out there, so it gets a bonus point for that! though i wish more dlc was added, like team CMEN or random characters like qrow or tyrian, would also like a difficulty spike halfway through, just to express your skill in this game. I can nitpick some few things but if the only complaint i have is more ways to express your skill. then this is honestly a must have game for steam.

Honestly one of my favorite steam games of al time, really fun time and if you can make a really cool map, its even better with friends. even though ive had my downs with this game, and gotten depressed because of it, It's still a really fun time and deserves all the love and praise it deserves

This game is fun and deserves to be sat down and played through to the end, dont join the fandom like i did, just play the game and be happy.

having over 100 hours on this game, i finally have something to say about it, i will go over the main and obvious problems first, but for now, lets look at this games pros and cons

Pros:
Original game and system (this game has original designs and game mechanics to make it stand out)
Fun leveling system (its nice to explore the bloodwebs and explore what type of paths you go, till you make prestige)
Never gets boring (theres always something fun about this game, the killers you face, the type of survivors youre with, etc.)
Some of the bugs have been squashed (im not saying all bugs have been patched, as i still se quite alot, but most of the bigger ones have been patched as of 1.9.1, and hoping they make this game sort of bug free)

okay, pros over, now to get to the part everyone loves, the cons

Cons:
Op perks (alot of survivor perks are way too overpowered, borrowed time, prove thyself, dead hard, sprint burst, etc.)
No balance (theres always gonna be that 1 killer who overpowers another, for example, the hillbilly will outclass someone like the wraith any day of the week, another example of no balance is the way the survivors play, theres almost no certainty that youre gonna win a match, it all comes down to pure skill, which is fine for a while, but once you get to the 1000 hour mark, you will notice a huge difference in how survivors play)

im only putting this out there, the amount of time you need to put into this game to be good is IMMENSE, and im not lying, im still pretty new since i have 100 hours, but i have plenty to say, and the balance issues a huge factor into rather or not you should buy it, now to the next step.

do i reccomend this game to you: Well, the simple answer is... no, and yes, it all depends on how you want to play the game, if youre not competitve, dont buy it, if youre competitive and want to try it out, go ahead, but since the vast majority doesnt like to try and go competitve, as of right now, and the games current state, i wouldnt reccoment this game at the moment, now not to say that i wont keep playing it, ill certainly keep playing this game myself because i myself are competitive, and love it, but for the rest, friday the 13th would be the game for you,

as a long player of the game (having played since 2016) i can say without a doubt that this game is thorougly addicting, probably the best stategic tower defense game out there

So, this is one of my scariest games yet, but SCP was definetly the more challenging, besides that they are many pros and cons that i found while playing this magnificent game, each one will have a detailed explanation about why I beleive this.

PROS
The atmosphere was simply fantastic, it kept me on my seat, something most horror games just couldnt coprehend, the sounds and spooky sounds always kept the feeling eerie and creepy, which should always be a Pro for Games like these

The mechanics are also fairly decent and amazing, took me 2 hours to figure it out but in the end, it turned to an easy yet challenging experience that i personally find enjoyable and Reasonable for these type of horror survival games

the enemy is of course, mama tattletail, her voice is by Geneva Hudson, one of the main producers of this game, the way they tuned up her voice to make it sound mechanical was only more of a reason to love this game, simply magnificence and Wonderful.

now with every pro, there is a con

CONS

it got very repetitve, feeding grooming petting running repeat, it got really boring after hours of doing the same thing over and over again.

the sound system is kind of broken, for example, i was completely silent while going to pick up the Yellow tattletail, and i immediatley got jumpscared as soon as i reached the living room, i wasnt making any sounds, and it was completely silence, hopefuly they'll fix this in the Sequel or Prequel

Mama's Jumpscare starting getting repetitve, making it lose its factor and became quite annoying, perhaps change this by adding new animations and adding a different sound effect each jumpscare.

Cons aside, this game was quite entertaining, horrifying, and Fun for the most part, i hope they'll expand the lore and addd maybe a new enemy and a completely different set of mechanics in the Next tattletail game, that concludes this review

When i first got this game, i really didnt know what to expect but the more and more i played the more fun and relaxing it was for mee. It has a sense of horror fashion along with the original scheme of doom. Killing demons is really fun when your mad and you wanna release your anger at something. but if you have a weak heart and dont like Horror themed games. This isnt a game i suggest. but if your a fan of killing d emons and are a fan of doom. Buy away and insure that you have a lot of time on your hands. over 16 hrs of content and you can challenge yourself with nightmarre mode.
