A beautiful game tarnished by the horrible humans staffed at Sucker Punch Productions.

Six months after release and they STILL don't have support for the PS5 Dualsense controller. Typical EA slop not even worth the EA Play freebie I was given... Don't waste your bandwidth even downloading it.

If you're a fan of Cyberpunk and/or the Bladerunner films and you want to relax and build your own Night City or your own dystopian Los Angeles, this is the game for you. No management, no resource farming, just city building. Hop in, drop some buildings and watch your city come alive before your eyes.

Grab your pizza and (up to 5) friends and get ready for a passionate and respectful nostalgia trip that will instantly transport you back to your childhood. If you grew up with side scrollers this is a must buy. And even if you missed out on the arcade era, grab this game and get ready to understand the hype.

A decently crafted story with likable characters. Combat is fun with a tactical, squad based command system. It does a nice job of introducing new enemy types and abilities throughout the story in order to keep things fresh.

Pacing is great but the overall story can be completed in less than 20 hours. It took me 26 hours to complete on hard and with finding most of the collectibles.

There is New Game+ that allows you to carry over all abilities/outfits you found on your first run. This can help with finding any collectibles you may have missed, but doesn't really add anything new in the form of gameplay.

With no significant changes (that I can see) with New Game+ and a story (even though well written in my opinion) that is pretty short, I can definitely suggest you pick this game up.... when it is on sale. I purchased it during the Winter Sale in 2021 for around $40 US and I don't regret it.

Definitely NOT worth a buy in it's current state. Assassinations need a lot of work. The game needs dedicated servers instead of P2P. It REALLY needs a better matchmaking system... the list goes on and on.

It looks nice though...

Explosions, bullet time, bananas and guns... Can't really say anything other than just buy this game!
