Already 6 hours in I recommend it over Tarkov. The game feels polished, the worst 'bug' I encountered was getting stuck on terrain (between a car and tall curb) once. Challenges are easier as if one person completes it all other party members who have the quest active get the rewards, the game gives you free loadouts whenever.

When Escape from Tarkov launches on the 18th, I'm not buying on Steam. A.) Nikita said buy it again. B.) They can't make a game work right after any updates.

Ar Raiders is just...fun.

It's just like warno, but it seems somewhat fair and more expansive.

I think I can recommend it to friends who are interested, as long as I can give several disclaimers.

The game itself is a great premise, essentially building off of what battlefield established with 32 v. 32 battles on a larger scale. The game felt like a little more realistic battlefield when I first picked it up in 2023, but sadly was ruined by the so called amazing Infantry Combat Overhaul, rather than fixing performance issues and bugs. Even after the ICO update they went and added a whole new faction, and to my memory, only did minor performance and bug fixes. But after ICO, the game plays like a hardcore milsim instead of a slightly hardcore one it started as. Weapon handling was changed to make everything feel like it had weight (which, is good, because real guns can get heavy after carrying them for a while and running with them), adding PIP scopes (which can tank your frames if you haven't messed with the settings), and the dreaded stamina rework...they butchered it. Seriously, has my soldier NEVER done cardio during his time in boot camp?

Modding the game is the best thing to do nowadays, as it adds a little more flavor to the typical monotony of squad's slow and boring gameplay. I recommend Global Escalation and Steel Division.

But all in all, I would recommend this game to people who like a little bit more 'tactical gameplay' than battlefield, and a little bit less than Arma 3.

Possibly one of my favorite game I have ever played. It is amazing optimized, as it is one of the only games I can comfortably play on my school laptop well due to it being shockingly well optimized, and all my friends can run it on their laptops. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Just not worth it. Terribly optimized, too many bugs, no checkpoints, the AI don't help at all and it is just VERY difficult. I may try it later but this is just bad.

I loved it so much.

I Am Your Beast is just the game people who like fast paced games should play. Where do I start when it comes to the game? It took me two days to complete the game, that's how much I liked it.

The story was great, the way it was presented to us between missions was unique. Playing as a retired secret agent Alphonse Harding finally breaking, turning his gun against the people he worked with when they entered his idyllic forest home uninvited and killing a bird. Too many jobs with the promise of being the last one. The senseless death of the bird, an innocent creature, pushes him over the edge. It's elaborated later on he's killed innocents before on his missions, so this hits so close to home for Harding.

The art style was deliberately meant to look like comic books, even though I'm not one for comics, I think it was perfect and something iconic.

The music is great, it has two modes to it. It has the pre-attack/pause music that is calm yet foreboding. And when you start your attack, it kicks up and gets the blood pumping.

The missions are repetitive; Go in, kill, leave. But that's not bad, and it's the life of a guerrilla warrior and I love it. I saw somewhere the con of this game is the lack of objective variety and it's repetitive, I disagree as the whole point of the game is to kill people invading your forest. For three missions, your character is constantly bleeding and you can't stop it. You can only heal yourself to prolong it, try to not get hit by enemies and complete the level before you bleed out and die. The other, you shoot down a helicopter with RPG's.

This game is for you if you adore fast pace shooters, good story presented well, and a unique art/music style and unique gunplay.

Do you want high-speed power fantasy gameplay? Because if you do, this it the game to play. Short campaign but has great replayability, impressive firearms selection too. HIGHLY recommend.

Not bad, would reccomend.

The game could use more content and could benefit from a longer time to complete in general. I played the game for 40 minutes and beat it, not saying it's lacking in any departments content wise. The game made my skin crawl, the tension was high the entire time I played even talking to the first person (who is a cop) and is meant to be a trusted character. The PS1-2 style graphics made it even more creepy. Would reccomend.

It's a game of suffering, but it's fun.
