after the recent patch, i wouldnt recommend b4b. the games difficulty already poorly balanced(already in favor of the enemies), the developers decided to shift the balance more in favor of enemy ...nightmare difficulty was tough but not impossible before the patch but now its almost impossible. they nerfed all the very few good ♥♥♥♥♥ we players used to enjoy and buffed the enemies(special riddens). turtle rock studios doesnt care about the community..only thing they care about is "FROM THE MAKERS OF L4D SERIES"

Stop going through the reviews ..JUST GET IT. it won't disappoint you.

played almost every gta title..but gta 4 iS my personal favourite. as u progress through the story u get sucked in and fall in love the characters. all charactres are very well written especially NIKO BELLIC- the eastern european protagonist, a army veteran. i liked almost everything the game had to offer be it- voice acting, characters, story, physx, graphics etc etc.
now let me discuss abt the dislikes..no ...not dislikes , its dislike and that is its optimization..u will be needing a very very very high end machine to run this decade old game on high settings..i got a decent machine which can run gta 5 on max settings and still get fps around 50-60. but gta 4 raraly touches 45 wen maxed out...so summary of my review
STORY- 10/10
GRAPHICS- 08/10 (STILL BEATIFUL FOR A 2008 GAME)

GAMEPLAY- 07/10

i absolutely dont know what to say..so lets go one by one-
1. story-unique, great writing, has the potential to be adapted into a movie or a series.
2.gameplay- its new, its fun, lot of derivatives of "bullet time" (which remedy created way back in 2001 with max payne), a
little repeatative
3.graphics- beautiful, awsome
4.sounds- good
now comes the main criteria-
5.bugs and glitches- the game should have been named QUANTUM BUG. the game crashes frequently without any error message
nothing. specially during cutscenes

SUMMARY- i was really liking the game but the frequent crashes made it unplayable ..and only for this reason..i wont be recommending it to any

not even 1 hour into the game...game crashed 3 times. everytime mission fails , game freezes

i would have recommended it few months back but not now..with every update they release..the game gets more bad.. in the official update release note , instead of writing "bugs and crash fixed" they should write "few more bugs and lot of crashes added, enjoy"
