Although I've always enjoyed the fast-paced combat in DOA, the whacky characters, and the sheer adrenaline...
=> THIS TYPE OF BUSINESS MODEL SHOULD BE OUTRIGHT ILLEGAL.

I says this as a fan of the series. As a gamer.
I'd rather unlock stuff through grinding my way through the game - than grinding my way into poverty.

I recommend the game but I can't give it a positive review. Funny, right?
460 DLCS that increase the game's cost 16000 % is just wrong.

Very disappointed after falling in love with the RE2 Remake.
It's definitely not worth €60... as is. A DLC with extra story or a Mercenaries mode could redeem it.

*Warning: spoilers*

Dislikes:
It's too short.
Not enough survival horror, which personally, is what RE means to me.
The amount of action makes it feel too much like RE5 or RE6...
Jill holding the rail gun in hand is the equivalent of Chris punching boulders...
She would be shattered from the recoil. Just look at the concrete floor when she fires... #facepalm.
Not enough exploration and puzzles.
The city part was way too small and not reminiscent of the original.
No park, no clock tower, no little shops, no story-defining choice events, ...
There's no build-up to Nemesis (compared to the brilliantly executed one in the original where you slowly discover why Brad is so terrified and once you do, it's too late).
Mr. X is a way better Nemesis than Nemesis...
Nemesis' rocket launcher part feels like a Crash Bandicoot level.
The boss fights are too easy.
Where's Mercenaries mode?!
The storytelling would merit from a better structure and story arc.
The hospital zombie shoot-out with Carlos... Exploding and evaporating zombies once you kill them- really!?
How cool and gritty would it be to be standing over a pile of permadead zombies when it's over? With Carlos' eyes open wide, his teeth bare, and an expression of awe and terror on his face: "holy #@]|, I made it. I MADE IT".
Toned down the gore and the physics, which were so cool in the RE2 Remake.
Lineair.

The good parts:
The hospital part with Carlos (suspense and story!).
The sewers part with Jill. All of it.
The hunters.
Nice weapons and easter eggs.
Carlos says what we're all thinking (RPD station).
Great interactions and relationship build-up between Carlos and Jill.
Mikhail's character, Nikolai's even more mysterious now, Tyrell's better grounded.
The power station (yikes)
The controls, visuals are great.

Bottom line:
It's not terrible - it just feels "off".
There's so much unrealized potential.
I wish Capcom put more time, thought, and effort into this remake.
